Stayed at the Belair again, cant beat the place. The beach is right there, One night we had a storm and we had large waves. Wild to watch as the beach is normally calm

This beach was a disappointment. The place is beautiful but has 2 bars that I supposed to parties every night because has an incredible number of bottles, cigarettes and "other" things in the sand. My daughter get the water and come back with a cut in her foot. I also didn't appreciated the service of bar that seems that want... More

Loved the layed back environment. It offered adventure as well as peace and tranquility. Loved our walks on the beach and looking for sea shells.

Lovely beach with few people and great snorkeling. We enjoyed a relaxing beachside lunch at Toucan’s Cafe, then returned to the beach for one last swim. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I really enjoyed this beach as there were not a lot of people to cause a bad experience. The scenery made me just want to stay there for hours, but the lack of fish around there quickly bored me.

We visited St. Maarten in 2014 and rented a car to visit other beaches. Of all the beaches we saw (Maho, Mullet, Great Bay etc.) this was by far the best. Clear water, soft sand (not shells) and restaurants a short walk away.

As an example of the pretentiousness of this resort...the Internet Connection fees were ridiculous, only 1-of-2 Internet PCs were available, and they wanted to charge a $10 per bottle corking fee...Belair suffers from a 20-year old delusion of grandeur and a undeserved 4-star rating.

The Good: • Secluded • Softest Sand on the island The Bad: • The best part of the beach is only accessible to the resorts. The Skinny: Stay at either of the resorts in Little Bay. The beach is amazing! I can't praise it highly enough!

Fantastic snorkeling. I'm a first timer. We tried every beach. Love this one the best. There is a wildlife preserve you shouldn't miss. Meet Calvin who will teach you about the wildlife and WALK out to the island to find millions of shells. Baie de L'Embouchure...
