Your trip begins by making its way past the Dutch side of the island, under the bridge and into the Simpson Bay Lagoon, the largest lagoon in the Caribbean. There you will see multi-million dollar yachts such as Victoria Secret's "Limitless" and the French Governor's family home. Exit the Lagoon on the French side of the island in the capital of Marigot and follow the coast line all the way to our first stop, "Tintamarre Island" where the myth of hidden treasures still exists. Explore Tintamarre, take beautiful photos as you walk along age old paths to see the historical slave walls built in the eighteen hundreds. Wander the pristine white sand beach while looking for hidden treasure; finders keepers...but don't tell anyone! The adventure continues with another gem only obtainable by boat, Pinel Island. Walk along this beautiful sand bar beach, sit down and relax in the crystal clear shallow water and have a drink. We'll treat you to lunch followed by the best snorkeling St.Martin has to offer! Get back in the boat and see the other side of the island where hidden behind the walls and gates of the French and Dutch Low Lands are the beautiful estate homes of the rich and famous. As the day winds down our last stop is at Sunset Beach Bar where you watch the planes come in overhead and then ride the oncoming waves of the Caribbean Sea back to Dock Maarten. « less

We took this trip with a family we traveled with to St. Marteen, and loved every second of the tour. We had five kids between the ages of 6-14 and they all thought it was amazing. Capt. Mike and Patricia were great to be with and were very knowledgeable of the island and the surrounding areas. It was more of... More

We recently visited St Maarten for the second time and went on this tour. We had gone on a tour with a different company before this and thought that was good. This tour blew the previous one out of the water. If you have teenage sons or daughters, you must give this tour a try. It is head and shoulders... More

I stayed in St. Maarten for 8 days and the day my family and I did this tour was truly the best day. You get to see so many beautiful places one of them being the secret place that was unreal! Our tour guide Michael made the experience so much more fun and he was just another reason why I'd... More

My family and I recently visited St. Maarten during a cruise stop. We have been to this island many times and decided to do something different. Found this tour via trip advisor and decided to book based the reviews. I am glad we did. We had an awesome time. Cpt. Mike and Patricia were fantastic hosts and very knowledgable about... More

My wife and I have tried many of the water sport adventures on the island of Sint Maarten but this one is tops! Michael and Patricia are truly in their niche as they are excellent hosts and very knowledgable about the island. The most exciting part for me was the thrill of speeding to the next spot in windy surf.... More

We've been coming to the Caribbean for 22 years (and Sint Maarten for 8). We've been on lots of good boat trips. This was truly the best because of the number of stops, the knowledge level, helpfulness, and rapport of the crew of Mike and Patricia. One caution, however. The trip is fairly physically demanding. There is lots of time... More

The Pirate Tour (stmaartenpiratetours.com) with Captain Mike and Patricia was absolutely the most fun, friendliest and informative trip we have ever taken on any vacation we have ever taken. We spent a week on the Island did the Rhino tour which was a not even comparable to the awesome time we had with Capt Mike. He made the trip the... More

While in St. Maarten with friends, we decided to take a snorkeling trip. We've been on many, so we're pretty picky. We decided on Pirate Tours because they do not take more than 10 passengers on a day trip, and the boat looked sound. Our boat captain, Michael, and first mate, Patricia, were just so much fun. They made the... More

What a day we had today with Capt. Mike and Patricia! After a disappointing day on Random Wind yesterday, this more than made up for it. On a sailing tour it takes a long time to get there and we had only one stop, and then back to the mooring. Here we did multiple stops with different types of snorkeling... More

We wanted to share with everyone that we had an amazing time with Pirate Tours. We went on a cruise and picked a full day trip with them. It was supposed to be sightseeing of St. Martin, snorkeling, beach time, lunch, some more snorkeling and beach time and then back to the cruise ship. Our captain was Mike Salzer and... More
