Walked through here on a recent cruise port day, we had a list of things we wanted to get, but found that the jewellery was not all that cracked up to be. Shopped for other gifts and nick knacks for family and friends. Great for duty free alcohol, can't believe it's so cheap here. None of the staff pushed you... More

There are many jewlery stores with excellant prices and selection. You also can find clothing, cameras and liquor. Quaint little street with many shops and good places to eat.

We went here while looking for jewelry and trinkets. Be advised that if cruise ships are in port it will be super busy. There are a ton of people trying to get you to go into each store. Best bet is to know what you are looking for and do your research ahead of time so that you go to... More

What my father used to call a "tourist trap". All the same junk you see in every other place cruise ships stop. Same old stuff 9K gold sold as 14K cuban cigars rum and overpriced duty free high end watches, cameras, designer goods and electronics. Go to the beach instead.

Customer service was great - everyone was friendly. Streets were clean and pretty. A lot of variety with food vendors.

Front Street is a great place to stroll along and pick up jewelry and souvenirs from St Maarten. If you are on a cruise ship, the taxis will drop you off just a short distance from this famous street. We also discovered that by wandering just a block or two off of Front Street, (i.e. down "Old Street"), you could... More

Its a nice walk, through this part of town, where you can find name brands and homemade goods at a great price, with no high taxes or charges.

Lots of little shops. We parked in the public parking and walked over. Be aware that if you are staying on the island that many of the shops are only open when the cruise ships are docked and then close down. Many stores selling the normal t-shirt, dress, and "junk", but there are good things to be found. May be... More
