On our last trip to St. Martin we were looking for a beach without sea weed. We were staying in Grand Case and, after 3 very clear water days, the sea weed rolled in making swimming or even walking on the beach impossible. So we drove to Mullet Bay. The beach was indeed cleaner. They had chairs and umbrellas for... More

Literally perfection! Bring a towel and enjoy the sand & surf, or rent chairs/umbrella for $15 US. Our FAV beach in SXM!

Perhaps the best beach on SXM. Clean, not super crowded on the weekdays, decent drinks & food if interested. It was a quick scenic drive from our villa. An iconic Caribbean beach worth visiting at least twice, if not more.

On the last day of our trip we had to leave early and on our way to drop our car off we stopped back at this beach. We left our suitcase in the trunk (against my better judgment) but it was within view the whole time. I had a bad feeling with a number of locals watching us and a... More

Because of hard winds, all beach was covered with seagrass for a couple of days, so we didnt swim here, but except for all seagrass it looked like a good beach to stay at with a little barbuque shop for food and drinks. And with possibility to rent chairs and an umbrella.

The surf was gentle. The snorkeling was great! The sun was devine! The only thing i didn't like outs the boats that came and hung out super close to shore and got in the way of swimmers. But otherwise great!

Went to Mullet Beach a few times during my stay. Beautiful tropical scenery and never was crowded. Great small, relaxing beach.

On my third time visiting St. Martin with family, with two kids in tow, we decided to skip Pinel Island (which we love, but takes a little while to get to from the cruise ships in Philipsburg) in favor of Mullet Bay. We were told the water would be relatively calm there, and we found this to be true. Nice,... More

Mullet Bay beach was my favorite of all the beaches we visited in our two weeks in St Maarten. Renting chairs were only $5.00/day (we brought our own). Beautiful sand. Good mix of people. Decent parking. Good food. Clothing optional, some topless. Near Maho Bay to still see the planes come in. Some shade if you need a break from... More

Crystal clear, the food is good at the 2 snack restos with great BBQ and drinks and very afordable. Lost of chairs and umbrellas, the staff is very nice and wait til you see the breathtaking view ! Love this beach, we are back every year many times during our stay on the island.
