Great place for a cold one and to plane & people watch. Here's a clue for the dim witted parents out there...this place advertises that topless women drink free....HELLO...if that is something you don't want your kids to see....DON'T GO THERE, try somewhere more family appropriate. The place was disgusting, food was lousy, drinks are drinks, but there were a bunch of dirty stray dogs all around and in the place where the big TV is, fleas etc, cockroaches all over the condiment stand. If you are drunk you don't notice. more

Sunset Beach Bar is cool because you can watch the planes land RIGHT above your head. It is right at the end of the run way. Yes, people actually can get blown over by the big planes! During the day this is a typical shack type restaurant. Don’t expect the food to be amazing. My mom did get sick one time eating here but the rest of the people we went with were fine. This establishment advertises locally that" TOPLESS WOMEN DRINK FREE" so if you plan to visit, you might want to do a fly by and make sure there is nothing that might offend you or things you may not be to excited about your kids seeing. generally the topless drinkers dont show until dark,but i have seen them at all hours... more

Go for the view. Avoid eating there. Both my kids got sick right after - I can't say it's from the food, but I would bet it is. The fries smelled like fish. Some beers are half the regular size. OK Simply put, this is the mecca of aviation photography. Bring your cameras and get a beer and burger as you'll have plenty to take pictures of and enjoy the beach.
