Least visited by tourists...too bad!

While vacation on St. Martin (French side spelling), I always take time to ask the locals where they might go to eat, swim, snorkel, etc. And I normally do as they suggest. When... read more

Gorgeous, secluded beach, off the beaten path. A lovely hangout for families or couples. Not commercial or overcrowded!

This beach is perfect for families with young kids. The surf was gentle and the water was clear. It was very quiet. We would visit again.

This place had the best snorkeling I did by far. The beach was gorgeous. However, you cannot snorkel at the beach because it is very cloudy. You have to go over to the rocks. My kids and I saw tons of fish. There is also a little Lolo there and bathroom during peak season.

While vacation on St. Martin (French side spelling), I always take time to ask the locals where they might go to eat, swim, snorkel, etc. And I normally do as they suggest. When beaches come up as a must-see/do visitor hot spot, usually Maho Bay or Orient Bay (Baie Orientale: French) are at the top of the list. There is... More

Great vibe, not crowded and excellent food and drink. The view is nice, the water is beautiful and very relaxing. You can swim, snorkel or just chill. You can rent chairs and food/drinks on the beach. Don't miss this little gem.

Friar's Bay is on the French side and very close to Pic Paradis and Marigot and very easy to get to with a car. Please don't feel discouraged and avoid this beautiful beach because some reviewers are stating rough roads, which is relative when compared to driving on a smooth freeway in the states. We rented a small car and... More

Another great beach with very nice water for swimming. The sand here is not the best but I'm not here to swim in the sand. The water was calm and very clean and clear. The rocks along the left side of the beach had iguanas so that was cool to see. I would recommend taking a dip here.

This beach is ridiculously beautiful...like...jaw-droppingly beautiful. You can rent chairs and umbrellas and there's even a couple of spots to eat right on the beach. Great day spent here.

This is a beautiful beach, but difficult to get to. The road is dirt and lots of ruts. Once you get there though you know it was worth the drive. Beautiful clear and calm water, but wouldn't want to be there during high season as the beach is not huge. A great place to spend the day.
