At the time we went it was hard to find the entrance to the beach due to construction. Once we found the beach at around 11:00am we were badgered to buy chairs. We did not buy chairs and decided to check the red sand out. It has a very light red color and does not show up in pictures. One... More

The rock formations make it one of the more picturesque beaches on Saint Martin IMHO. When I visited, the water was very calm and the beach was well protected from the gusty winds we were having that day. There is a nice little restaurant onsite and chairs for rent. The parking lot is small, but everyone seemed to be parking... More

This is a very nice beach. I went on March and nobody was there. Very calm with beautiful turquoise water. Perfect for swimming. The parking lot is not very big then I guess in high season you must go early.

Getting to Red Bay early enough to find close parking is recommended. Walk down a short set of stairs, past the guys working to rent you a beach chair and/or umbrella, past the small BBQ place...and you'll find the lovely Baie Rouge. The water is gorgeous and the sands are wonderful. We found Red Bay's sand to be very soft... More

this beach is lovely. water can be very rough when the wind blows and then not good for children or non-swimmers, the local food vendors have excellent drinks and food, but the food can be pricy

Baie Rouge is probably the most beautiful beach on St Martin. the long white crescent with rocky outcrops at both ends invites a long stroll in the sun. On calmer days a great place for families because it is far less crowded than many St Martin beaches. Some days the surf comes in huge here, and is a very fun... More

You can hang near the restaurant/bar area, or stroll away from the crowds and have some quiet time. Not busy on a weekday. Saw snorkelers and wish we had some gear. The beach services some nice homes above.

Nice beach with chairs and umbrellas. There is a restaurant with a bathroom. It's a nice beach but the waves a really big almost all of the time! It was my 3rd time in the island and it's always the same at Baie Rouge! Not recommend for young kids.

Great to see but not to stay. We literally got taken out while lying on our chairs by a massive wave! Lost my shoe in the water, had to get rescued by a staff member, quite funny actually. Very scenic and that's about it.

Really! But I don't want to say too much more...it may get crowded otherwise. Ask Shawn to make you a fab cocktail and Venus will get you your beach chair for an all day perfect day!!
