I have visited St Martin for 21 years and always visit the Marigot Market . There are the traditional China sourced souvenirs booths which shoud be avoided . We like tbe spice sellers ., the artist booths water color prints and originals .make sure you understand the difference. Hand painted tiles for maybe a bathroom , copies of an original... More

Just a couple of blocks behind the market is a little spice stand (next to a great bakery and around the corner from the post office) - the spice are excellent and the owners are friendly and informative. If you want to take home a taste of St. Martin stop by. They sell a great "jerk spice" in quantity and... More

It is interesting to walk through the market and see all the things that are for sale. Many you would not see state-side (@ home). Some of the clothing is very colorful & interesting. But there are also lots of souvenirs that only appeal to kids. It started to rain (f/just a little while) so we ducked into a French... More

We purchased shore excursion and one of the stops was the Marigot Market. The place was loaded with flea market style stores. You can find a lot of local products, decors, souvenirs, food, shirts, cloth bags, magnets and spices that are not easy to find at home. I wished I had bought some. There were a lot of colorful handicrafts... More

We stopped off at Marigot market while touring san marteen .it was a maze of colour and so lively. I bought a typical Caribbean sun dress of fab bright colours. They asked for 25 euros and I eventually got it for 15 bargain! The stall holders were all so happy and friendly it was lovely. We then stopped at a... More

We spent part of the morning browsing through the stalls in the craft market. There was some interesting jewelry and clothing that were unique to Marigot.

I really enjoyed shopping with all the local street vendors, and on the way out we passed thru all the little sidewalk cafes, where all the food looked and smelled wonderful. Next trip, we will definitely allow time to eat here too

The shops by the cruise port, ( Marigot) are laid out nice with a lot of selections and several stores to get your logo t-shirts, coffee mugs, magnets, shot glasses, jewelry, spices and some guava berry barbecue sauces, along with rums of the Caribbean. They also have an internet café, where you can purchase some minutes of wifi to connect... More

We had 45 minutes to spend here while on an island cruise. I thought it was a nice little market. It sold the normal stuff clothing, fridge magnets, bags, pottery etc. reasonably priced & the locals weren't pushy at all

Found out our favorite spice seller had moved 1 block off market to be open every day! To find her go to garnet stand or stone creole statue of lady next to the traffic circle and the end of the market. Walk away from the water to cross the street. You will see a mural on the wall ( these... More
