If you're looking for a beach that's quiet but not totally secluded, Cupecoy is a good choice. Its white sands are backed by low sandstone cliffs that have been eroded in such a way that they provide a run of small semiprivate coves.

Nice view

Nice view of the ocean. Be aware, it is a clothing optional beach and most of the people were not wearing anything.

This beach is a few min walk from sonesta Maho. Very pleasant in the mornings . We walked there early in the mornings which was cool, nice with breezes . Must go . There are umbrella rentals and drinks.

Beach is definitely one traveler to St. Maarten must visit. The sand was the smoothest of the beaches we visited, which made it great to just lay a towel down and relax (not need to pay for a lounge chair). The water is clear and beautifully blue, and the bars nearby have great services. It's a little out of the... More

Had a hard time finding the beach. Took a taxi there and he showed us that you need to find an opening to walk down to the beach. It appeared that there isn't one big beach, but rather little sections/coves...with cliffs/rock formations. Interesting.

If you want to be alone and enjoy the warm weather or get the nice sun tan, go on this beach. It is not very crowded and there are rocks nearby where it is interesting to climb using your feets.

We didn't care for Cupecoy Beach. There are actually several small beach areas that grouped together are considered Cupecoy. Closer to the entrance - getting to the beach requires a very steep and challenging descent to the water down rickety steps. Instead - we went to the farthest north part of the access road and parked where we had just... More

Worth the steep climb down to the water or watch the sunset from up top. Shopping mall and we after at Blue Fin resturant. It's about a 10 minute walk from Maho np beach. Pay the 2 bucks to the the "BUS" Van to get you there and then walk back.

Little difficutlt to find, this Cupecoy beach offers small pockets of beach along a rocky shore line. Danny offers good food and drink.

We stayed at one of the villa's on the beach. We could not access the beach from the stairs because the bottom is washed away. The roiling surf and slippery rocks make for a really good ER visit. BEWARE VERY DANGEROUS.

This beach is much smaller than you would think. It is not very well marked and is a little hard to get to. It is very pretty because of the rocks (not really caves). It is not the best for children because it is small, not much sand area, rocky, and there are nude sunbathers. There are chairs you can... More
