Cupecoy is one of my favorite beaches on Sint Maarten. It is a series of smaller beaches, surrounded by cliffs. This beach is rather small, but not extremely crowded. Expect to see several topless sunbathers. The backdrop of the roack walls and the views of Saba made this beach a worthwhile stop. No facilities or umbrellas for shade. more

I don't think this is an "official" nude beach, but many do go nude. There are not large crowds. There are all types of people, including a gay cruising area on some trails at the far left of the beach. Cupecoy offers a beautiful, dramatic landscape with tall cliffs and crystal clear water. I thought it would be just like Wind-n-sea in San Diego but it is 10 times more beautiful. My husband and I were the only ones in our little cliff-area, it was insane. Be sure to visit the CliffHanger bar--it's so rad! The owner feeds the sharks... more
