Driver was the "mailman." He delivered, big time. Extraordinary information about the island, history, current situation, plants, animals..everything. He was incredibly well prepared and delivered all the data with great style...terrific sense of humor, definitely on his game. The tour was well organized, the van was comfortable, with lots of free drinks. We saw Iguanas, sea anemone's and all kinds... More

After reading overwhelmingly positive reviews on this and other review websites, I booked with Bernard and expected to have an exciting and unique day in St. Maarten. It wasn't necessarily a bad experience, however, it just didn't live up to the excitement that everyone seems to have with this tour. We wanted to do something different than the typical cruise... Our tour with Benard was wonderful! We had a family of 10 on this trip and we ALL had a blast- teenager, elderly, non-physically fit, very diverse group. We did the tour around the island and couldn’t praise this tour enough. We had a very comfortable air conditioned van with speakers through out the van. He made sure we had... More

We were on a cruise and had planned an excursion with Bernard Tours. There were 6 ships in this port; one being the Allure of the Sea…needless to say, the island was very crowded! We got a taste of both sides, the French and Dutch sides of St. Maarten. The first stop was at an “Iguana Farm” where we got... More

We e-mailed and booked a private tour ($450 for 9, plus optional tips) for our group with Bernard. Great value compared to negotiating with a taxi for a smaller amount of time with no beverages and unknown guide quality. Upon arrival the guide was waiting for us on time, took our payment, and off we went with our guide Dietrich.... More

Easy to find at the port - energetic crew - tons to see - great value!!! Great time at Orient Beach - didn't feel like we were being cut short like on other excursions. I wish we had spent more time on the French side at the open air market but I understand that were was a time crunch. Loved... More

Overall I was very pleased with this tour. Bernard is most professional and his staff very nice. The nice thing was we were able to take this tour in the morning versus a late afternoon tour that was offered by the ship. The tour was most comprehensive and enjoyable and our guide Rudy was great. That said - I must... More

This is a typical cruise tour - friendly knowledgeable guide, typical crowded spots to visit, ACed van. It's a nice way to see the island without spending a lot of money but it's not particularly exceptional tour either. If you like intimate and off the beaten path, this tour is not for you. If you like inexpensive and just the... More

If you are in St. Martin be sure to book a tour with Bernard and his team. Our group of eight had so much fun. Our driver, John was very accomadating! More

Never again will I do a tour with unlimited liquor drinks. Two couples from Ohio got so drunk and unruly that four letter works and disgusting talk kept pouring out of their mouths for the entire bus to hear. Even after tour guide and other guests asked them to stop it got worse. They ruined it for all for 4... More
