Located on the Dutch side of the friendly island of Sint Maarten in the center of Maho, Cheri's cafe opened in 1988 and has continued to grow in popularity ever since. 'A jewel within a jewel!'Music & live entertainment six nights a week with our very own 'Sweet Chocolate' band. Each night we try to surprise our guests with something different, whether it's Tina Turner, LuLu or Louis Armstrong or any of the many other characters that all add up to a fun night to remember at Cheri's Café.Dance beneath the stars at the most popular nightspot on the island, a lively and exciting venue for tourists & locals alike. If you haven't danced in a while, it will be hard to resist the live rhythmic dance beat here; or how about a romantic slow dance? We are known for our fun loving pleasant atmosphere, complimented by great food, honest prices and great entertainment. Our aim is to please you by increasing your happiness level while you are in our care. We care about our community as well as the 46 staff members. Our goal is customer satisfaction, we want you to have a fun time, together with great food! Enjoy! We look forward to welcoming you back again.Frommers ReviewAmerican expat Cheri Batson opened this cherished institution in 1988. The rare tourist trap that even appeals to locals, this great place to meet people is outfitted in an irrepressible color scheme of scarlet, hot pink, and white.Everybody from rock bands to movie stars, casino high rollers to beach bums makes a pit stop at this open-air pavilion. The surprisingly good, relatively cheap food (think burgers, steaks, pastas, and fresh fish) is a bonus, but most come for flirting and dancing to an assortment of live acts 6 nights a week.Don't miss such regulars as Sweet Chocolate Band, if only to watch the guys don wigs and falsies.

We stayed in Maho the 2nd and 3rd week in feb 15 and before we arrived I had read that Cheri's was not to be missed. Well we were not disappointed, the staff were very welcoming and attentive finding us a seat and making sure we always had a drink. We didn't eat here but the food looked delicious and... More

To begin with, we had a 6 and and 8 year old with us. This is their absolute favorite spot on the entire island of St. Martin. When I mean their favorite, I mean they asked to bring their clappers on the plane with them so they could do it at Grandma and Grandpa (who were already on St. Martin)... More

Went here with some friends and had a great time, it's a free show. We got there a little before show time and had dinner and a few drinks. My friend and I ended up being a part of the show. The wives laughed it up, took pics and we had a good time. We got the last laugh because... More

From Cheri to Randy to the General to all of the guys in the Sweeet Chocolate Band and the staff these people helped make our trip to Sint Martin so enjoyable. Food is very good and the service for as busy as the place gets is also very good. From fresh seafood and steaks to burgers and sandwiches you can't... More

Entertainment is great, however, I wont recommend to go there to often, the shows are the same over and over; yes they do have new acts every couple of months, but to me it's all the same kind of stuff. As a local, i will only visit there once every 3 years or when i have guests from abroad who... More

I've frequented Cheri's ever since I was a little girl! I have family on the island and go back to visit every few years, and Cheri's is always on the agenda. The show is always a big hit; the audience participation is the best. The drinks are delicious and there is wide selection of food to chose from. Make sure... More

This was by far the most fun night on our trip! You MUST go. The music and comedy show is so fun and interactive. Great for the whole family....but better when there aren't any kids because they don't have to do a PG show.

We spend most of our time in St. Maarten at Cheri's!!!! Chester (Sugar) is our VERY FAVORITE BARTENDER IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! He makes the most awesome chocolate frozen martinis, and he makes me a special one that is a chocolate covered cherry frozen martini which I think should be called "Cindy's Special" on the menu!!!! The staff is friendly.... More
