The Tet Paul Nature Trail is worth it if only for the pictures and views of the island at a much easier price and effort than climbing the gros piton. Magnificent views of Sugar Bay and the Pitons and a quick tour of local flora and fauna.

We did the Tet Paul Nature Trail on our final day in St. Lucia and really enjoyed it! Our guide, Merlyn (sp?), was funny and informative - she started a bit scripted, but once my boyfried accidentally stuck something smelly in my nose (one of the fruits we were learning about) she opened up and started talking more openly with... John, who helped to found the nature trail and has great plans for its development for and with his local community, was our guide on the trail. He told us about medicinal uses for the plants as we made our way to the viewpoint with spectacular views of the Pitons and the island: on a clear day you can see... More

Developed and led along the trail by locals, you'll hear about island life and see the amazing views. Bring your camera.

Anybody can do this trail and it is definitely worth it. You learn a lot about the indigenuous plants but most of all the views of the Pitons is brilliant!

We can not stress enough how wonderful this tour was. Learning about the plant life on the island was very interesting. Our tour guide was very informative and offered to take our photo along the tour. Trails and steps to content with but thats little to ask for once you get to the view of the first Piton. And they... This is a snapshot of St. Lucia in the raw. It's gorgeous view, plant life education, and wonderful guides. At one point on the hike the trail is labeled "Stairway to Heaven" and it's not far off. Not to arduous so most anyone could hike this.

This trail is run by local families and is fairly easy to do. The guide was a very nice, calm lady which gave us a great talk about the area flora and surrounding villages. The views are outstanding.Climbing the "stairway to heaven" part of the trail is exactly that. Wow...A view engraved in my memory for ever but also in... More

We had a very well informed tour guide..she knew each tree, plant and fruit name..we took our time taking pictures and asked questions..the short walk of about 20 minutes took us to a spectacular site..the view of the Grand and the Petite Piton is worth the walk..wear comfortable shoes and cool clothes..vegetables are planted along the side of the path... Tet Paul Nature Trail is a must see, very easily to get to. The trail itself is very easy to walk on, can be done in sandals and we walked it when it was raining. Very very cheap, $5 I think. The guide was patient, we had enough time to just stand there and admire and we were the only... More
