I only saw the church every day, I looked inside a couple of times. I did not enter, but it was one of the most beautiful old churches I have ever seen and I am sure the services are just as amazing. If this is your thing, I don't think it would disappoint.

Sunday mass is an amazing experience with the most awesome choir, second to none. Well spent 1 1/2 hours enriching the mind and soul. Please be generous with the collections as the church greatly needs funds.

This church was built in 1951, and appears to have French influence. We visited on a Saturday Morning, and the church was running confirmation classes for its young congregation. If visiting the town this should be on your list of places to visit.

Beautiful historical structure. Closed the day we visited. Wanted to go inside but never got the chance.

Beautiful church! Didn't attend for mass, but the inside and outside was exotic looking. Much different than churches and houses of worship found in the U.S.

There are very few things to see or do in this village and this church stop is one you should take. There was no one around when we stopped so we had the entire building to ourselves. Nice old historical structure.

This review is in two parts: As a Catholic, it was such a delight to celebrate with our brothers and sisters in a sweet mix of Creole, English, and Island flavor! The music was incredible! Such talented musicians and rather delightful music- including their versions of many of the traditionally sung pieces of liturgy (Glory to God, Allelulia, etc.). The... More

We went to Church of the Assumption for the Saturday evening Mass at 6:30. The service was very nice about an hour in length. The singing was beautiful. Had a chance to visit with some other tourists that were also there for the celebration. Had a nice visit with Father. All in all a great experience. The Locals were so... More
