My Wife and I visited Marne Coubaril Estate while on a guided tour of Soufriere. The grounds of the estate were beautiful, showing some of the amazing native plants and agricultural fauna that historically made St. Lucia a center of commerce. We saw an example of how the workers of the estate lived via maintained homes that are preserved for... More

My wife and I had a great time. My wife was a little scared and got "stuck" in the middle of the line, the workers were great and came to her rescue and helped make our experience a great one!

We did this as an excursion from Royal Caribbean. Took a boat ride from Castries to Soufriere. Many drinks on the way back from the unlimited supply of Rum Punch. Also had a 'light snack' of generic Pringles :) Great pictures there and back. This was my wife's first time ziplining and my first since years ago in the Army.... More

Recently we spent a glorious week on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. One of the highlights of that trip was a visit to the Morne Coubaril Estate in Soufriere. Our visit to the Estate was a trip back into the colorful agricultural history of Saint Lucia, where cocoa, coconuts and manioc are still being grown to this day. This... More

Discover how chocolate is made and how the workers huts were built including the largest which was the men's bar! Beautiful flowering trees and local fruits. Luscious lunch included.

We took the walking tour of the estate and since my Mom walked slowly, they gave us a personal tour guide. He knew about every plant, tree, flower and fruit on the estate and provided names and information about all of them. Learning about the cocoa making process and tasting fresh coconut water and meat was also part of the... More

We visited for zip lining, as this attraction was only 5 minutes from our resort. The guides, Jimmy & Dalton were professional, safe, and a lot of fun. Jimmy took my iPhone at the beginning and took many pictures and videos of me and my wife zipping throughout the course, to make certain we had great memories to share at... More

As part of our Holland America cruise in the Caribbean last month, we visited the Morne Coubaril Estate and had a very interesting tour with Jimmy. He explained the details of the beautiful plantation after we had a delicious lunch on-site. Jimmy had a very good knowledge of the plants and products produced there....including the chocolate which you can purchase... More

Natasha was our guide. She was wonderful and explain the process for making chocolate, crushing sugar cane and about the various flora native to the estate. We got to see them husk a coconut and got to drink the coconut milk and eat the raw coconut. We got more from this tour than at the botanical gardens!

We had hired a local driver to take us around and he mentioned this tour to us. We weren't disappointed. Murphy was our tour guide and took us around and explained the history of the plantation and the flora throughout and their medicinal uses as well. Murphy was very gracious in taking a few pictures of my husband and during... More
