Being the high point in Castries, the place is perfect for photo ops. There is not much else up there, beside stalls of different products made on the island. Our taxi driver brought us there where we stayed 15 minutes. Washrooms ($) are available.

We booked a cruise ship tour which included a drive up Morne Mountain to view the Inniskillings Monument and then to get panoramic views of St. Lucia as we continued to drive along a narrow winding mountain road through the poor villages. We drove by the Governor-General's house as we headed up the steep road towards the top of the... More

As we jumped out of our tour van one of the jewelry vendors yelled out, "It's Tom Cruise" and runs over to shake my husband's hand. My husband is a good looking fella but he's not quite "Tom Cruise". But enough about that. The view was really pretty and you'll want to take a picture.

Julian drove me around the Morne to Inniskilling Monument, University... More

Lots of historical sites outlining St Lucia's colourful history of passing from French to English control over the years. A really nice Batik clothing store tucked away up there that is well worth looking into.

We stopped for a picture view of our ship in the dock and Catries. The day was so clear, you could see Martinique. A great stop for pictures.
