Many of the brochures talk about the lively Rodney Bay Area but we found that mean booming music until 3 am, tacky shops, pestered by peddler' sand a dirty and unloved beach. We were hassled everywhere we went and apart from a small shopping mall that has a mac and a nice American diner the rest of the mall and... More

Everything you need is in Rodney Bay - beach shopping malls choice of pubs and plenty of restaurants. Food is quite expensive in most of the restaurants. It seems purpose built so not very authentic.

A beautiful bay to see. We took the local bus to visit. Area has many restaurants and a shopping district. We are not shoppers so we only wanted to see the place.

Great bars and restaurants, a great place to go to when you need to leave your resort. Food is good and the locals are friendly, lots of choices and the ambiance is great.

We took a taxi from the cruise port and drove about 15 minutes to Rodney Bay, cost $50 ,round trip. That seemed to be the going rate no matter who you asked. Shopping included several name brand stores and a mall area. A great variety of restaurants also. We ended our time there at the beach at the Royal resort, walking... More

We asked a few locals at the cruise ship terminal where the best beach on the island was, and we were told by four different people that Rodney Beach was the place to go. We took a taxi van to the beach and got dropped off in front of a hotel where several men met us and showed us to... More

We stayed right in Rodney Bay so we were within walking distance to everything. What a cute area full of restaurants and nightlife. If you desire thumping bass this is the place for you late night. We could hear the clubs. Didnt bother us just we prefer to get up early and roam around.

not as cheap as I would have hoped, and not inspiring range of shops. There is a shop that sells clothing and the normal touristic type goods which the staff are eager to please and it is duty free
