Rodney bay is a good area to stay with plenty of restaurants serving a large range of food including local, oriental, steak, pizza and other convenience foods. There are also shopping malls and supermarket. Within easy reach of Castries by local "bus"

Lots of great restaurants in the Rodney Bay area. I like to eat out occasionally, as prices can be steep. Most nights I walk to the Triangle and get local food from the buffet. The chicken BB is terrific! You miss all of this if you stay at an all inclusive resort.

Great place to shop. Very large selection of island clothes that you need to bring back home. Do not miss this shopping area.

+ A lovely beach and turkis water. Beton, beton, beton, noisy, water jets riding full velocity through the swimmers, loud music from each boat passing close the beach, etc. Not really what I search on a Caribbean island.

It took us a while to find this all-day tour, as our tour rep did not offer it at first. (Sunwing tours). Then we spoke with a couple with Virgin Atlantic who offered this. We went back to our own rep, but she offered it at $65US higher and could not bring this rate down. Shop around, rates differ! The... More
