This park was very neat! It took my husband and I about 2 1/2hrs to hike from peak to peak and check out all the historical sites in the park. It was well worth it (it's about $7 US dollars to visit but to keep the park up and going, we were glad to pay the entrance fee). We were... More

We went here many times on our trips to St.Lucia and always loved it ! Its very imformative but take water and wear good shoes. Not for little kids unless they are carried. You can't push them here ! Diana.

We had been on the gorgeous beach and snorkelled in the crystal clear water. It was almost deserted - beautiful beach. We didn't hire beach chairs just sat on our towels as we weren't sure how long we would be there. We ended up staying for ages as this place is a little gem. The hike up to the ruins... More

We love visiting Pigeon Island when we are in St Lucia as it is a really fascinating place to explore. The climb up to Fort Rodney is well worth it for the views alone, but looking around the old ruins and thinking what it must have been like for those soldiers in impractical European uniforms puts the experience into perspective.... We aren't much into history and did not go into the interpretive center but we did walk the grounds and looked at the ruins before hitting the two private beaches and enjoying lunch at the restaurant. Recommended if you want to explore.

Good to get away from food and drink and see some of the history of the island. Get a guide book and take your time. Views from the fort at top amazing!

If you happen to be in St Lucia & can't decide what you want to do, goto to Pigeon Island. There's a million different adventures you can do, but this is cheap, it offers a lot of history, moderate hiking, and semi private beach access in a National Park. The trip was not available on our Carnival cruise ship shore... More

Fort Rodney is another must for visitors to St. Lucia. The views from the lookout points are unbelievable. The history of this island speaks volumes from the moment you enter the gates. The surviving structures are fascinating to view and walk through. An inexpensive day trip, that is a definite highlight of any trip to St. Lucia. Bring a lunch... More
