We were at the Sandals Grand which is right next door. I think the entrance fee was $4 US. and they sell maps for $5 but you wont need it. There are plaques at each ruin and signs pointing to the top platform. There is also a place to eat but we did not go in. If you enjoy historic... More

Beautiful! Gorgeous! And access to a quiet, white powdery sand beach overlooking sapphire blue waters. There is a small admission fee to get in the park. There is even a small rstaurant/bar inside the museum. The walk around this old fort is interesting. There are small markers where you can learn about its history but there is very little left... The interpretive center was closed for renovation so there wasn't a lot to see. Hiked to the lookout and it had nice views. Saw a few cannons and old walls and that's about it. Went down to the beach and hung out after the cruise ship people left and it was great timing and relaxing.

This park was very neat! It took my husband and I about 2 1/2hrs to hike from peak to peak and check out all the historical sites in the park. It was well worth it (it's about $7 US dollars to visit but to keep the park up and going, we were glad to pay the entrance fee). We were... More

We went here many times on our trips to St.Lucia and always loved it ! Its very imformative but take water and wear good shoes. Not for little kids unless they are carried. You can't push them here ! Diana.

We had been on the gorgeous beach and snorkelled in the crystal clear water. It was almost deserted - beautiful beach. We didn't hire beach chairs just sat on our towels as we weren't sure how long we would be there. We ended up staying for ages as this place is a little gem. The hike up to the ruins... More

We love visiting Pigeon Island when we are in St Lucia as it is a really fascinating place to explore. The climb up to Fort Rodney is well worth it for the views alone, but looking around the old ruins and thinking what it must have been like for those soldiers in impractical European uniforms puts the experience into perspective.... We aren't much into history and did not go into the interpretive center but we did walk the grounds and looked at the ruins before hitting the two private beaches and enjoying lunch at the restaurant. Recommended if you want to explore.
