We (three adults (one teetotal)) went to the distillery and the tour was a short visit of the main distillery and then it mainly concentrated on tasting the various rum based drinks which were made available. The decent rum is not available for tasting. I would have prefered it if we were given a taste of some of their quality... More

This was a very short tour but interesting. The tasting was enjoyable and gave me the chance to sample some rums I wouldn't normally entertain. Worth the small tour fee.

The Rhythm of Rum Distillery Tour in Roseau valley is a must do while in St. Lucia. I recommend you to do this early in your vacation. Why? Because you can buy rum at lower prices to drink and to take back home. The variety of rums you can taste and buy are many and delicious, although I am no... More

We enjoyed our tour of the rum distillery. The tour consists of a walk through and explanation of the rum making process. Once completed, the guests are brought to the Tasting Room to sample the various rums. The Coconut Cream and Banana Cream rums were my favourite. You can purchase rum here at a slightly discounted price.

I am by no means a rum expert; but enjoyed the informative tour that showed the process of making the rum. The best part for me was the display at the end with the carnival costumes. The guide seemed to know quite a bit about the carnival costumes and how they were made. She allowed us to spend as much... More

We took this tour expecting, well, an actual tour. The tour portion can be summarised as follows; 'Here are the Vats we ferment in. Here are the pipes we distil alchohol in. Any questions?' which took maybe 15 minutes. Unlimited rum tasting is there with the exception of their premium brands (Chairmans special reserve, forgotton casks and chairmans 1931) although... Summary: mediocre rum, not the best prices, not interested in customers. I have some good bottles of Rum at home and wanted to visit the distillery and try some of their supposedly high quality rum, so we went to the distillery (not with a tour) and asked at the gate about seeing the distillery, the only answer we got was... Visited the distillery as part of an organised trip whilst on a cruise holiday . Found the tour to be interesting and informative . All aspects of rum production were covered by the knowledgable guide who walked us through the working distillery . At the end of the tour you are invited to a tasting room where you can sample... After asking the Rum Shop at the port if they had a tour of Bounty Rums distillery- she called a friend who had a taxi -who turned out to be the best taxi of our cruise- to take us there. Ali was most knowledgable of the rums there- the tour is fun - better than Bacardi and the Rhum distillery... More
