Its not far and the Friday street party is a must, it Rocks, its a mix of locals and holiday makers. I understand it gets very busy from 10 through to2.30am. We left at 11 and it was going well before then.

We have had our ship located at the marina for 9 years. The Marina Staff and Dry Dock staff are wonderful. The Marina does it's best to service you with honor. Do watch out for some of the local contractors. Look for references. The docks are in great shape. Internet is Ok but slow. Has gotten better each year. Food... More

I was excited to see the schooner that they used as the Henrietta in Pirates of the Caribbean. And although its sails weren't up that day, this kind of made my first trip in Saint Lucia ;) the bay was clean and you walking around was a breeze since, well, it's the caribbean!

The marina is the best on the island and is surrounded by several very good areas to visit. The main entrance to the marina is on the Eastern (landward ) side. This entrance leads into a very nice, small complex of shops, bistros, cafes and ice-cream shop. It isn't a chic designer shop type place but it does have a... More

We wished we booked our hotel in that area, next time I go back to Saint Lucia I will definitely be staying in Rodney bay. There are Chinese restaurants, pizza restaurant, fish restaurants and grills, KFC, Subway, Burger king, Casinos.... More

We were here for vacation because The Moorings is based here. The marina has a lot more restaurants than other marinas we've been to, which was very nice. Showers were warm all but one time. They were kept clean, but not always stocked with toilet paper. Staff was nice. View is beautiful!
