Hubbie and I stayed here on our 1st trip in 1999. We returned just for lunch this time in 2014 and found it quite a bit different. Lots more places to stay on the road side and more homes built on the surrounding hills. Looks like another ocean cottage building was being built while we were there. Also, the ocean... More

Not an unpleasant place by any means, but I found this not to live up to the glowing reports read elsewhere before visiting.

This was a very cool attraction we stopped by on our boat excursion. Many great attractions, fancy yachts to look at, restaurants, and resorts. Surrounded by flowers and cliffs, this is very beautiful. A must see.

This bay is just soooo beautiful and cozy. We had a great view of the bay from our villa and watching the ships go in and out of the bay was relaxing. The book The Man That Loved Schooners is a wonderful book to get a good perspective on the bay and has a few pictures of the bay in... More

We came to Marigot bay from soufriere by boat and it was well worth the trip...we visited dr Doolittle restaurant, but we had a really nice view from Our table....the bay is gorgeous...the food service at dr Doolittle was a little slow...I would advise people travel by boat to outskirts towns as it's a lot quicker and cooler and you... WE visited the Bay on a bat during a tour of the island. The Bay is very picturesque but we didn't stay we just circled the Bay. The Bay is in a great location with cliffs either side and offer stunning views and is a very nice area to visit.

Marigot Bay has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever witnessed. You can pick up a water taxi over to the other side where you can swim or enjoy the rope swing. If you eat at Doolittles there is a water taxi provided. Note that Doolittles is best known for it's location, rather than it's cuisine.

This is a very cost spot in St. Lucia. A very nice bay tucked away between cliffs. History tells that english navy spilde into this bay, put coconuts in top of the masts of their giant vessels to hide from the enemy during the fight for the Island. They we never discovered but mistaken for palmtrees by the enemy. I... More

I went to Marigot Bay during a 10 day stay in St Lucia and had a really relaxing time. There are 2 distinct sides. On one side there are shops, restaurants and plenty of boats to marvel at. The other side can only be reached by water taxi which is regular, cheap and a short journey away. On that side... More
