We came ashore here from our cruise ship. There is a small pleasant beach approached across this bay by a small ferry. The marina was chock-a-block as a number of yachts had just crossed the Atlantic in a sort of race. Taxis and minibuses offer trips to other parts of the island. The bars and cafes and restaurants are squeezes... More

We met up with a tour to go up to Sulphur Springs from Marigot Bay, the town was really neat. Very congested but a smooth exchange to our tour guide! It is a cruise ship destination!

What a gorgeous little haven, we first came by sea and sailed around the harbour and then came back a few days later by car. There are quite a few nice bars and restaurants to visit

This place is worth a visit for a lazy day on the beach in a beautiful setting. There is a small fee to take the ferry (small motor boat) across to the bay but once you are there it is worth the cost. You will get the normal hassle from the vendors but just be firm and they tend to... More

Staying at Sandals Grande St. Lucia I was able to windsurf through the bay on the fresh breezes almost constant in the afternoons. Many boats are moored in the bay. Some limited snorkeling is possible next to Pigeon Island. The view is very nice including sunset over the bay.

We arrived on ,Celebrity Eclipse, and had reserved a tour to Jaloucie Beach and the Pitons, Canaries, Anse le Raye and Marigot Bay. When you exit the west coast highway about 4 miles from Castries and you drive a short ways to the area overlooking Marigot Bay you will be absolutely stunned by the dramatic, scenic views of this gorgeous... You can take the ferry but you can also swim across as well, just like my wife did whilst I took the ferry with the clothes, a lovely wee beach next to the Marigot Bay hotel (Dr Doolittles Restaurant) sets the scene for a relaxing stay.

Would of gave it a 5 but it is really hard to get to this place. Very hilly and in the middle of nowhere. Once you get there, we rented a car, you are truly in paradise. We went swimming and ate at Doolittles. Lots to do. The street vendors are cool also. Purchased some really cool island stuff.
