This place is worth a visit for a lazy day on the beach in a beautiful setting. There is a small fee to take the ferry (small motor boat) across to the bay but once you are there it is worth the cost. You will get the normal hassle from the vendors but just be firm and they tend to... More

Staying at Sandals Grande St. Lucia I was able to windsurf through the bay on the fresh breezes almost constant in the afternoons. Many boats are moored in the bay. Some limited snorkeling is possible next to Pigeon Island. The view is very nice including sunset over the bay.

We arrived on ,Celebrity Eclipse, and had reserved a tour to Jaloucie Beach and the Pitons, Canaries, Anse le Raye and Marigot Bay. When you exit the west coast highway about 4 miles from Castries and you drive a short ways to the area overlooking Marigot Bay you will be absolutely stunned by the dramatic, scenic views of this gorgeous... You can take the ferry but you can also swim across as well, just like my wife did whilst I took the ferry with the clothes, a lovely wee beach next to the Marigot Bay hotel (Dr Doolittles Restaurant) sets the scene for a relaxing stay.

Would of gave it a 5 but it is really hard to get to this place. Very hilly and in the middle of nowhere. Once you get there, we rented a car, you are truly in paradise. We went swimming and ate at Doolittles. Lots to do. The street vendors are cool also. Purchased some really cool island stuff.

My husband and I had an opportunity to experience Marigot Bay area as part of Stormy Normy's tour and we were completely stoked! The area is beautiful, clean, and the views were wonderful! You can take a free water taxi across and chill at the resort there or have fun at the surrounding restaurants. Truly a wonderful experience!

We took the public transportation to the bay. Not really a place to bath but beautiful view from the top and a very nice spot to have a lunch.

Like everything else in St Lucia not easy to find but well worth the visit. Free parking put you have to 5 CD to get to the beach side - this for a return ticket. Nice bit of beach and lovely warm water. Price of drinks quite reasonable considering where you are.

We ventured into Marigot Bay on our Joe Knows trip, and saw some nice houses and a few cool boats. The guides also pointed out Mick Jagger and Oprah's house. Worth the visit into the bay if you're in St Lucia for a while.

To look at the bay from a distance is beautiful. Once u get down to it the water is dirty, the "plaza" has stores but they are not opened and there are people begging u to buy their crafts. Moving on the the resort where doolittles is u are greated by more locals with shops along the walk way to... More
