This is more of a local's beach, quite secluded, and more of a natural feel. Seaweed on the sand etc. No shops nearby so bring water/shade if you plan to stay a while.

We enjoyed an afternoon at this beach with our lunch visit at the Le Guanahani Hotel. The beach lines a bay that has a protective reef across the opening to the ocean, so the wave action is very calm and gentle. There were many water actives being enjoyed by people from the hotel, but there is also public access, so... More

This is not the sort of beach where you lay out with a towel or fold out beach chair. Day beds are provided by the hotel and I'm unsure if you are able to use them unless you are staying at the hotel. They day beds and chairs are complimentary for guests. The snorkeling is no good here. All you'll... More

Since this beach is more shallow...it is not a great swimming beach. But is is a good walking beach or "just enjoying the view"...kind of beach.

This area of the island is one of the most exclusive because some of the best hotels are here. It s an area very nice with breathtaking views over the bay. However the beach is not the best on the island to swim. It is quite swallow water so ok with families and children less for more adventurous spirits. In... More

This beach is very beautiful, but every beach is one of the most beautiful you will ever see. Definitely worth spending time here, just make sure you hike to Colombier!

Not a classic surf and sand beach. It's a lagoon. The water is beautiful only 4 feet deep. Gorgeous views.

This spot is probably the windiest on the island but it is a good spot for kite surfing, and other water sports. You can often see turtles around. It is good as well for families but one should stay away from kiters. We've stayed on the beach of the Guanahani Hotel and spent a great time there.

Grand Saline is an odd beach for St Barts, it's completely protected from the waves by a reef so it's mill pond flat and consequently very popular with wind surfers and others. It's a nice beach to wander along and has two good restauarants on it as well as two hotels and a new one being constructed. This is a... More

The beach is narrow, and replete with wind and coral but watching the kite surfers plying their trade is fun.
