even though the beach can be somewhat noisy at times when planes are landing, we actually enjoyed watching all the planes come in! beautiful beach otherwise as well, and easy access to nikki beach, eden rock, la plage, etc.

A must go beach, several upscale restaurants for lunch and airplanes taking off right over your head! Super beach. Not sure if we've ever seen such powdery sand and great swimming!

St Jean beach comes in two parts. The first is the part by the end of the airport runway and is the most popular part. The beach used to be wide and long, but last Christmas and New Year some storms seem to have taken much of the width away, I presume that will return before too long. Regardless of... More

We spent the day in St Bart's or St Barthelemy to give it its correct name and it is a truly beautiful island. I would love to holiday there. We were on a cruise and started the day by just walking round the town of Gustava. It was a Sunday so very few shops were open but we enjoyed just... More

Eating and drinking at Niki Beach is so gooooood and there was nothing at all that we did not like. The music do keep you going and dancing....Right when you get hot, you jump into the ocean for a pleasant swim.

We've been to St.Bart's four times. The first three times we rented a villa on St. Jean Beach. Then, 18 years later, we went back to St. Bart's and rented a villa in the hills. We still went to St. Jean Beach, but WOW, has it changed. More shops, restaurants, and boat traffic. Not that it's a bad thing, just busier.... More

We where in STB for only a day and I had choose 2 beaches to try. Anse St Jean was one.( the other one was Gouverneur). This beach is separated by the Eden Roc Hotel. It is wide and a lot of space to swim. At one end, the airport runway ends. So you can see small planes landing and departing.... More

St. Jean is excellent, flat, and the best walking beach on the island. However - it is also the most developed and touristy. There are several beachside restaurants (which is both convenient and distracting) and there are all sorts of beach toy and beach chairs rentals available. The beach is bisected by the runway at the airport which is both... More
