Great beach. Nice waves. Great to watch planes to land and take off. La Plage and Eden Rock are there if you want lunch. A little more crowded than other beaches

All beaches are delightful, but St. Jean Beach is great -- from La Plage to Nikki Beach. It has activities, restaurants, great swimming and delightful scenery. Walkable, picturesque and family friendly. Rent the local chairs for 10 Euro each or bring your own. Can walk to the supermarket to replenish snacks, wine and water.

We love watching the small planes as they takeoff and land on this teeny airstrip...the setting is beautiful and if the planes overshoot the runway, people get up from their beach chairs and help push them back up onto the tarmac. Great walking beach:-)

Fun to watch the planes land and take off as you walk in pristine sand from one great hotel/restaurant to another - all very chic and subtle... no big nightmare hotels on this island!

This beach has an amazing view and service. They have suntan bed seating which isn't too pricey($20/day). You can sit on the beach, order drinks and snacks and enjoy the sun! It s a great beach for kids as well. The water is pretty calm and here are a bunch of little fishes swimming around.

I loved this sandy beach that offers super fine white sand and a quiet sea with turquoise water. Almost transparent fish will swim by you in this beautiful spot. Less quiet is the music coming from Nikki beach and the spectacular landing and taking off of planes. 2 mythical places have elected domicile on this beach : The Eden Rock... More

even though the beach can be somewhat noisy at times when planes are landing, we actually enjoyed watching all the planes come in! beautiful beach otherwise as well, and easy access to nikki beach, eden rock, la plage, etc.

A must go beach, several upscale restaurants for lunch and airplanes taking off right over your head! Super beach. Not sure if we've ever seen such powdery sand and great swimming!

St Jean beach comes in two parts. The first is the part by the end of the airport runway and is the most popular part. The beach used to be wide and long, but last Christmas and New Year some storms seem to have taken much of the width away, I presume that will return before too long. Regardless of... More
