The reef were they took us was gorgeous. Saw things I had never seen before: huge spiny lobsters, got very close to a barracuda, a small shark in the distance, amazing underwater caves, a pair of big champagne angel fish...you see a lot of wildlife. Went to a spot were the waves break above your head, and that in itself... More

First I want to make clear that this review is only of the rental shack. There is a Kite Surfing school that operates next to the shack, the man is fantastic and helpful. I went to rent two pairs of fins for the day from the shack. Nobody was in the shack, nobody ever seems to be. I asked at... More

Last year, we dove with Turenne for a few recreational dives. This year we came back and got our advanced open water testing done. Turenne is a wonderful dive master. His communication is excellent and his directions are clear and easy to follow. We had a great time and felt safe. The one experience that sticks out in my mind... More

Turenne operates a VERY awesome dive shop! This man is a class act dive master and he earned my respect as one of the top DM's. We dove during the off-peak season and he reserved space on his boat for not one but TWO of my non-diver friends to snorkel. We were accompanied by Maggie and a new diver. I... More

I dive 50 to 100 times a year, so I know a great dive operator when I meet one. Turenne is a great dive companion. His boat and equipment are new, well maintained, and he is very customer service oriented. He knows all the dive sites real well, and is very easy to deal with. If you are going to... More

I have dove with 4 different scuba operators by this time. Though that may not seem like many, I have an interest in Hyberbarics and appreciate safe practices. The Ouanalao Dive boat docks on Grand Cul de Sac Beach. The owner is Turenne and he took us out on his boat and served as our dive master. The seas were... More

It was my wife's first dive, she really enjoyed it. I hadn't dived in 5 years: great refresh, hungry for more.

St Barths is probably not the best diving spot in the world but diving with Turenne at Ouanaloa Dive is very efficient, safe and pleasant. The dive shop is located at Grande cul de Sac which I believe offers a better experience than from Gustavia. If one is staying outside of Gustavia then Grande cul de Sac is likely more... More

We went snorkeling, not diving, and had a good time. Having snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef and in Hawaii, I can't say the snorkeling is the best ever. The area looks overfished and the coral is lifeless. We went more for the experience of it and had a great time. Turenne and his staff are pleasant and helpful. We communicated... More
