Good walking beach with restaurant

Flamands beach is pretty flat and as long as any on the island.- makes it good for a walk. Having a resort restaurant on one end allows for amenities to a degree.

We spent a day here and the beach was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed it very much the only issue we had was the winds are very strong and the sand hits you in the face pretty hard. Otherwise is was great and the walk along is beautiful as well. It's definitely worth the trip.

We loved the beach, easy accessible but not a lot of parking. Long and lovely. Had a wonderful day there. Be sure not to miss this beach.

My husband and I chose this beach for our wedding. Need I say more? It is a beautiful cove with a wide beach, and not crowded.

We spent a lot of time on Flamands Beach this past trip (June 2015) as we rented a villa right on the beach. It is wide and long (say around a half mile...long for St Barths anyway) with a moderate amount of surf making it fun to bob in the water. There are three small boutique hotels on this beach... The day we visited this beach it was quite windy. Other than that, it was by far one of our favorite beaches in St. Barths. We had lunch down at Cheval Blanc which came with two comfortable chairs, a large umbrella, and drink service until our 2pm reservation. The waters were gorgeous with a bit of fun wave action as... We don't need a lot of SUP, windsurfing, boogie boarding, or other things that may be too "active" when we go to the beach. If that's how you're wired, too, then this is the beach for you. It's wide, long, pretty, and calm. We stayed here in a villa that was right on the beach and had a pool, Ecoute... More

My favorite beach ever. A spot to make as home for a week or so. Peace and Serenity. Always perfect for a walk, bakery a short hop away, as well as a trail to Colombier Beach. Can't say enough.

This beach is a wonderful beach with both boutique hotels and some smaller villas lining it. Because of this, there are usually more folks enjoying the sand. But, it is wonderful sitting there and enjoying the view of the smaller islands out front. Parking is street-side and is sometimes hard to come by.

Great beach. Wide and long. Crystal clear water. One of my favorite 3 beaches on the island. Definitely a must visit when you come to the island.
