Enjoyed a great day and beautiful sunset at Les Salines Beach. This is a white sand beach with tranquil clear waters. You park in the shade and walk about 20 feet through palm trees to get to the beautiful beach.

I had never been in the Caribe and probably this was the picture in my mind of the perfect caribbean beach. Perfect temperature of the water, soft sand, the palms close to the water, the beach bars.... The only bad thing is you are in France and we found a not as pleasant as we expected woman in one of... The longest beach on Martinique, very calm water, there was no problem with parking, vendors walking the beach selling bikinis, ice cream, fresh fruits etc. There are permanent food vendors ,lots to choose from fish, chicken, ribs etc. We had good, relaxing time.

Nice long sandy beach surrounded by palm trees. Place to hang your hammac or just use one of the tables with bences. Clear, warm water. Some truck-restaurants. A great place to spend a day!

When we visied mid day the beach was plenty crowded but still a beautiful, stone free, weed free beach with quite a bit of shade. Seemed fine for families. Calm/clear waters and nice view across to the interesting terrain of Le Diamant pennisula. Clean and easy access to parking. Showers alvailble.

Do come either early in the morning or late in the afternoon in order to profit the most from this wonderful and long beach. Between 10 am and 4 pm the beach and the parking is often much too crowded. Its fantastic how such a small island as Martinique can have so many different kinds of beaches. Just to give... More

This is a nice beach with restaurants & vendors selling crafts they have made using local items (seeds, palm leaves, etc) Just like throughout Martinique the parking is awful. Narrow roads & deep ditches-you have to park alongside the road.

White sand that stretches all the way into the sea and beautiful, clear water with fun, but manageable waves. Lots of local flavor and great homemade snacks. I had a wonderful homemade banana beignet that really hit the spot after a day of swimming.
