Beautiful white sand soft as farina, azure blue water of 30°C, blue sky and coconut trees everywhere you can see. Amazing sunsets. All the schmaltzy clicheés you can experience there on your own or with someone special. Just marvellouse.

Beautiful beach, golden sand, blue sea and palm trees. Truly picture-perfect. There were only a few people there when I visited to I found it very calm and relaxing. It was very easy to park, right next to the beach.

Probably the most stunning beach we have visited in the caribbean. On weekends teeming with locals who make it a day out and cook BBQ's- on week days almost a deserted paradise with very few visitors. Take care to arrive early on a weekend as they run out of parking spaces

We were quite disappointed with this beach. We arrived around 10 a.m. on a Wednesday and the beach was so busy, we had trouble finding a parking place. The poorly maintained parking road is so close to the beach it detracts from the beach. The beach is smelly from the food vendor tents. The beach was not very clean either.... More

Les salines at the southern tip is just one of the many beaches in this area. Anse michel on the south east point is even more beautiful. From Sainte Anne is is a nice walk in the shade to reach les salines.

I've just returned from Martinique - this was my 4th holiday there. Les Salines is the most popular beach and yes, it is great - the palms, the sand, the nice warm calm see. However, I have noticed that the beach has gone more "commercial" over the years - yes, Chris and Lydie have always been there with their sarongs... More

Great beach, get here early – This is a great beach on the very southern tip of Martinique. It is what you would imagine, white sands stretching on in both directions, small waves, palm tree’s and an unbelievably beautiful scenery. Parking can be difficult as it was very crowded when we got there. There were many vendors selling lunch and... More

Great beach with shaded areas next to the beach with trails through the woods over to other beaches. Can be crowded on holidays and weekends and even closed to tourists during special events like the Mercury Party 7/6/13. A nice hike from here through the petrified rock area to Anse Trabaud, there and back about 2 hours.

Lovely drive to this beach through countryside. Lots of parking. Shade. Safe swimming.Views to St Lucia. Visited on a Sunday and Midweek. Plenty of peaople also plenty of space for all. Beach sellers but no one annoys you. We enjoyed the atmosphere on this beautiful beach. Every bit as lovely as Grand Anse, Greneda even a little more so .....

We spent two weeks in Martinique and visited this beach often. As we were there over the Christmas Holiday, schools and businesses were closed and the beach a was a little busy, however nowhere near the crowd you would find in Waikiki, HI. Even at its busiest it wasn't that bad. The sand is in great condition and there are... More
