Gentle bay with calm waters on the left side, sheltered by the cove...kids loved swimming here and I loved the ease of getting there

If you want privacy- this is your beach- It take about 15-20 minutes to hike the path to the beach- but it is so worth it, no snorkeling- we even went all the way out to the island- saw very little.

Beautiful unspoiled beach with fine sand. Not great snorkeling but wonderful place to sit in the sun. Bring water and an umbrella if you have one!

This was one of the, if not the best beach I visited on the island. It's not exactly 'secluded' as it's part of a state park, but that doesn't detract from it's quality or beauty. It's a perfect cove with clear water and plenty of sand. Don't miss it!

My brother and I visited "Red Beach" for our brief (too brief) visit on Vieques. We loved it, it doesn't get much better than: palm trees, coconuts, white sand, and nice warm calm Caribbean waters. We did a little fishing too, without any luck. This was our favorite beach of the whole trip. By no stretch of the imagination is... More

Easy access and beautiful white sand beach. The water is clear with a gentle slope. Good spot for families.

Also known as Red Beach, this one is large with covered picnic tables off the beach. It has the most people on it compared to the other beaches, but it's so large there is plenty of room to stretch out. Watch out for the wild horse piles in the grass...it's every where and nothing will ruin your beach visit like... More

I've heard there are other beaches in Vieques that are beautiful but I found this one to be very, very good and pretty awesome. No crowds, no waves, crystal clear waters. Just bring your own picnic, umbrellas and chairs and enjoy life like it should be.

Loved this beach, nice size, beautiful, has some covered pavilions. We would go here in the mornings and stay until around 11, that is when the tour operators begin bringing groups. Then we would pack up and venture farther into the refuge for another quiet, beautiful beach. There are so many to choose from!
