Beautiful teal water . Clear and clean. A perfect beach. Has tables and palapas at one end . White sand soft and powdery. Depending on weather can be waves or just clam . great beach for families

Drive right up to a beach hut with a bench (forget about it on the weekends), and you have a large beach with good sand and some wave action on the corners. Popular with the locals on the weekends.

Beautiful beach, light surf. Fairly easy to get to... some of the other beaches along this way are easier accessed by a jeep. Highly recommend it families... bring an umbrella, not a lot of shade!

You really can't go wrong with any of the beaches on Vieques in our opinion. This one is very easy to get to, but it was also one of the busiest we visited on a Saturday during the summer. We decided not to stay long since it was so busy, but kept going to Playa Priata which was smaller and... More

This beach is surreal - the sands are white and soft and there are at least 5 shades of blue in any direction you look at :) Get in early to catch a cabana, or find a tree - but you WILL need the shade, because you won't be able to spend less than a day out there :D

The water looks like liquid glass. The sand is fine and white. The beach is the most crowded you will find on Vieques. If you are a park and drag a ton of crap to the beach, this is your place. Too many people for us.

We went out to red beach thinking we would find a spot to eat a packed lunch. When we got there it was very crowded. We went to a small beach down the road and found a great place to eat and snorkel. It was on a Sunday so not sure if that is the day the locals go after... More

Several beaches are closed in Vieques at the present time, so more people are on less beaches. Red beach is a beautiful beach and the pavilions are nice, but get there early, like 9 o clock early.

Heaven. This beach is so insanely beautiful that you feel like you are living in a postcard. It's a speed-bumpy ride out here, but worth it. We originally planned to go to Garcia Beach/Playuela, but the cab driver missed the turn & dropped us off at Caracas. What a great substitute! We arrived around 10 & there was not another... More

A bit of a trek, but one of the best beaches ever! Very secluded and a nice place to spend spend some time. The water is very clean and clear with calm waters on the east side and a bit of surf toward the western side.
