Another beautiful beach.

I think this was some of the best snorkeling on this island. We came back for more multiple times. I saw a sting ray wider than my arm span! It's also nice and quiet and pretty protected from the wind. Good place for a picnic lunch. A couple pro tips: Find a sandy part of the beach to walk into... More

We came here looking for conch shells. We didn't find any worth keeping, but sure enjoyed the views while we were looking. I think there are better swimming beaches (Caracas, Sun Bay), but am very glad we visited this beach. After reading other reviews, I wish we would have brought our snorkeling gear.

The drive to the beach is very fun down a dirt road. I had a blast! This beach has some amazing snorkeling (some of the best we had on Vieques). We saw a sea turtle and many fish. Very quiet here (only 1 other group of people).

We were disappointed in this beach as it was a significant effort to get there. We didn't snorkel so there was nothing to see except the electric network. The road is rough and unmarked. Not worth going.

Green beach is great for snorkelling. You have to be patient, however. Everything looks grey/brown. I found huge conch shells in perfect condition, rays, pretty sea snails, colourful fish, and lots of sea cucumbers. The beach is narrow but has a good view of the big island. The road to get here is hell. Why they need speed bumps on... More

You must get 4 Wheel Drive and you must go to Green Beach (also called Puntas Arenas)! :) You will not be disappointed. You may lose a few teeth and need to see the chiropractor when you leave the island, but you'll be okay with that because the views, snorkeling, and solitude are worth it. We spent several days out... More

Beautiful sandy beach area with a variety of shade and sun. A lot of reef areas and drop offs with a wide variety of sea life. We arrived by boat. We did not spend much time on land. Maneuvering into the coral reefs and stingy sea urchins can be a bit tricky, but we had a great tour guide. If... More

Its a long drive, but pays great rewards in privacy and fantastic snorkeling. Stay close to shore for reef fish and swim further out in the turtle grass to see Turtles, Sting-Rays and often Spotted Eagle Rays. The road has been graded, so it is not as hard on your car and your back as it used to be. Best... More

Well - it took forever on a very very very very did I say very bumpy road to get to Green Beach. It actually should have been closed to the public. It was that bad. However, when we finally did reach it, here was this little piece of swimming paradise... with a rock to put your stuff on, not much... More

You will absolutely need a jeep to get to this beach. During the drive here I almost turned around twice because I felt I was going in circles and was never going to reach the beach. That being said, the beach itself is very nice - and it has a really interesting point where you can see both the North... More
