This was a hard beach to find a good spot on. One of the places we initially ended up had us not wanting to be in the area as it warned of an underwater sea cable. We went to the other end of the beach via the poorly-kept access road. We found a nice point in which to access the... More

An adventure to find but what a beauty...the most intrepid of our group decided to have one last beach day and we stumbled upon this beautiful little bay. Clear waters, great temperature, wonderful view of PR and we had it all to ourselves!

This was our favorite beach on Vieques, due to a balance of beautiful sandy areas, palm trees for shade, and great snorkeling. When you arrive at the beach there is an informational sign and a small parking lot. If you stop there and use that launch point, the snorkeling area is to the left. If you follow the road to... We got to this beach based on reviews from other travelers. The beach is nice but we got there close to about 5pm and while there was still light out, we were among perhaps one other family there. We didn't stay past 6mins or so because the mosquitos were literally out in bunches. I wasn't really all that impressed by... More

A kind of shallow snorkeling spot, and a rocky, jostling drive, but beautiful, with a view of the southeast coast of mainland Puerto Rico and great snorkeling. During my trip, I saw an octopus, tons of fish, and even found a few great little empty conch shells. Worth the drive!

Unbelievable, turtles right off the beach, sting rays and spotted rays jumping out of the water feet away from us, iguanas on trees perched above our heads. incredible

My wife loved this beach and the area. There is some pretty good snorkeling straight out from the beach at 200 yards or so and to,the left of the beach. A must see in Vieques, but go early, bugs and people.

A long pot-holed dirt road to it. But it was pretty private. The snorkeling is decent: we saw conch, turtles, a variety of coral, and many colorful fish.

The beach is located on the most western part of the island. Best place to watch the sun sink below the ocean. Getting to the beach is an adventure. You will have to endure almost 2 miles of road covered with a countless amount of holes. It makes for a very bumpy ride. It also makes for a great ride... More

I have very mixed opinions on this beach. The spot we ended up at was waaaaaaaaaaay down towards the southern end. We'd planned to snorkel, and were told this was where everything good to see hangs out. So, we drove the extra bit further, and found ourselves on an expanse of empty beach overlooking El Yunque Rainforest and the eastern... More
