If you are tired of crowds look no further. Calm water great for swimming and snorkeling. It is secluded beach. No guards but is shallow so no worries.

We traveled past the. Paved road onto the gravel Entrance 15. Had the beach to ourselves. Snorkeling was excellent. Tremendous variety of fish, coral and sponges

Porbably the best beach on the island and relatively easy to get to! You must see it, swim here, and chillax here if you ever find yourself on Vieques!

After driving past many parking spots and stations, we found our own spot to sunbathe and take in the sea breeze. Relaxing, beautiful, semi-private, and pretty secluded. Husband and I had our slice of the beach to ourselves for awhile until others showed up, making the small clearings on the beach seem crowded. Still lovely.

La Chiva was our favorite beach of the visit. Many others had large mats of seaweed washed up on the shore. In speaking with the locals, this is uncommon for the island but this year was odd with two seaweed wash events and counting. We visited this beach three times, using parking areas 8, 14, and 18. 14 and 18... More

I went snorkeling and saw a nurse shark, barracuda, and a ton of beautiful fish. Beaches were pristine and there were no large crowds!!

Absolutely stunning. The water is like no other. Take your time and explore any of the beaches and you will not be disappointed. They all have something special to offer.

Definitely a must see, and do (snorkel). Blue Beach, also known as La Chiva, is located several miles into one of Vieques state parks. You can park your jeep, or car (if you dare to drive one) close to the beach. The water was a bit murky till about 30 ft out, lots of sea grass. We continued to snorkel... More

So, we drove around looking for a nice quiet place for the day, and found a great little hideaway on bllue beach... we had a rented jeep and we pulled into a picnic area. We walked about 25 yards to a place on the beach that we could put our chairs in and stay out of the sun when we... More
