This beautiful piece of land and beach keep lots of secrets about what is to be part of the best. Clint Eastwood used this area and the Island of Vieques has to offer. Red and Blue beach are along with Camp Garcia the most beautiful beaches of the island. Visit by thousand each year. Great for camping, relaxing or enjoy... More

Most cab drivers do not like going there because the road is extremely dusty & bumpy but the water is so worth it. Peaceful with hardly no one there. I recommend you take your own snacks and water because there is no where to buy anything there. If you can you should rent a car and drive to all the... More

I live in Puerto Rico. Be careful while on this and other beaches in Vieques. During the last few months there has been a dramatic rise in crime in Vieques. Armed burglaries are common and some tourists have been robbed at gun point. An American tourist was murdered recently. So please, be careful on this beach and everywhere on Vieques:... More

This beach is off the hook when it comes to Caribbean beaches. Take lots of pictures and make all of your friends green with envy! We found a great spot for information on the island at Vieques Beach Bums blog they know where to go, that is for sure!

Sadly, the beautiful Blue Beach is closed for the next 3-5 months while they conduct some work. It is our understanding that when it reopens it will be even larger than before.

It's quite far away from the downtown area but it's definitely worth visiting. Water is crystal clear. Don't forget to go there with a pair of goggles! I did saw a stingray and other small fishes just not far away from the beach!

When you ride on the bumpy road with your Jeep to reach Blue Beach, it will be worth it 1000 times over. Choose any of the mant tiny rustic entrances and park where you can. You can usually find an area all to yourself. The water will not go passed your hips. You feel like you are in PARADISE!

Bummer but evidently they need to remove military debris. We went to Secret Beach instead, which was staggeringly beautiful but extremely bee infested.
