Relaxing Beach

Beautiful views with tranquil water. Shallow for long stretch, great for snorkeling or long swim. Very scenic with a quiet setting.

Almost empty, beautiful, beach! Frankie says "it's Waikiki with Diamond Head on the right." And no hotels. It is the only beach that charges anything, maybe that is why it is empty. I am happy to contribute to the Fish and Wildlife Service's maintenance of park lands on Vieques!!

Beautiful beach that's easy to get to. Lots of Palm trees for shade. Clean beach with bathrooms & security guard. Stop and eat some fish tacos & coconut water! Added bonus is the wild horses grazing nearby.

No waves, no noise, clean water, gorgeous views. It was within walking distance from Malecon House where we were staying.

Huge, well groomed beach. Very calm the day we visited. Facilities include a snack bar and rest rooms. We sat under a palm tree for several hours. NO CROWDS during the week.

I live on this island in the winter and I am thrilled every time I come to this beach. The view is awesome and the water divine and the beach sandy. It is like a photo shopped beach except it is real.

I was a little skeptical about sun bay because it seems to be the most touristy beach on the island, but when we were there in early January it wasn't crowded at all. It has a great scattering of palm trees to lay under if you want some shade. There are some bathrooms and the Arena Mar cafe where you... More

Beautiful beach with palm trees and amazing wildlife and running horses around. Without any doubt the best place to visit in the island.

After asking for directions to Sun Bay at La Tienda Verde (the green store), we trudged along the paved road to the beach, only to discover a much shorter route along Esperanza Beach. Oh well, live and learn.
