Large beach, not crowded, beautiful sand

Great beach, lots of open space, near to media luna beach. Not good for snorkeling. Snack bar and restrooms available on site.

Don't know how it is on weekends, but the Monday we went, this beautiful beach had maybe two or three others the whole time we were there. We weren't as surprised at the lack of people on the other beaches, but thought this one would have more people. Tons of palm trees to choose from for shade. And the snack... More

This beach is walk-able from the main strip in Esperanza and a cheap/easy Taxi ride from Isabel. It's one of the few beaches that the taxi will take you to. We arrived around 10am and had the place to ourselves all morning. Keep walking all the way down to the Left! It's a great place to walk the beach and... More

Many beaches, but by far our favorite. Easy access and not crowded. Pack drinks and snacks and enjoy the beautiful water

This was a nice area to park right next to the beach and enjoy the beach with facilities nearby. Easy car access - one of the few beaches that didn't require four wheel drive to get to.

This was probably my favorite beach we visited in Puerto Rico. It wasn't super crowded as I think most people opt to venture to Culebra and Flamenco Beach. We wanted to do the bio bay tour so we chose Vieques. This beach is a short walk from Esperanza which was nice since we didn't bring our rental car to the... More

This is a very large, beautiful beach. There are plenty of palm trees to provide shade, which is nice. We enjoyed the water once we got past the gravely rocks. Once we were about waste deep, the bottom was more sandy and easier to stand on. The water is calm and it's probably great for kids once you get them... More

Stunning and basically perfect. We enjoyed this amazing strip of palm tree-lined sand twice on our trip, and regretted not going back more.

We spent the day on Vieques island on Sun Bay beach. This is on the south side of the island facing the carribbean ocean side. Great beach, large enough for it not to be too crowded. There were only a handful of people on the beach, thus it felt more private. The beach itself is awesome with great sand and... More
