Spent an afternoon at Navio. The water there is as nice as it is at the other popular beaches in Vieques in terms of temperature and clarity. The difference is that this beach has some waves, which was a nice change in pace for us. There were only about 15 other people there with us, which was great. You definitely... More

Incredible beach!!! Not the easiest place to get to, which is great because it keeps the ya-hoos away, but as long as you have 4WD, you'll get there without problem, and are guaranteed to love it!!!

Yes, bumpy road! Would not try after rain storm. We had fun getting there and a blast when we arrived. The water wasn't all that wavy when we went. I spent hours floating around. There are small reefs at either end of the beach and I saw a few pretty fish. Pack a lunch and feel like a castaway!

Small, very private beach with caves at the far end with good snorkeling. The surf was a little rough, but not bad. There are shady spots under the palm trees. Gorgeous and very secluded!

Rough water so leave the mask and snorkel at the hotel. You'll need a Jeep to get here. It's through Sun Bay beach ($2 entry per car). It's the ONLY road on Vieques where we used 4x4. Smaller than most beaches on Vieques but very beautiful wide beach, white powder sand, facing south. Very little sea weed. Parking can be... More

It is a very nice beach but the road to get there is very bumpy and depending on the rain can be muddy. What is great about Vieques is there are so many beaches to try.

Amazing beach with fine white sand. It was nearly deserted early on a Sunday morning. Windy with large waves.

Terrible drive to this gorgeous beach with lots of waves which is surprising as nearby beaches are calm. This beach is for wave jumping, and riding.Be warned the road to it from hell!

Great waves for body surfing. beautiful cave to explore when water is not high. Very bumpy and craters in the road to get there so take a four wheel drive or ride a bicycle.

A sweet little remote beach so typical of Vieques. We opted out as the beach had so much dried seaweed on it. Getting there was great adventure, though. Drive that 4 Wheel Drive, to be sure!
