Beautiful!

This beach was worth the drive. But make sure you get a jeep to do it. The road was very muddy and rutted.

Hard to get to, but tough to beat. We had the beach to our selves. It is not a huge beach, but the sand is wonderful and the surf made swimming fun. There was not a lot of undertow, so it felt safe to frolic in the high surf. The road to the beach requires a four wheel drive vehicle,... More

You will need four wheel drive to get to this beach. The road is rough. You will encounter gigantic pot holes. Trees will brush up against the side of your vehicle. You will wonder if you are lost in the jungle. Then, you will see an amazingly beautiful secluded beach and know the effort was absolutely worth it. Not only... More

This beach is very secluded due to the fact that it's not easy to get to, with large crater like pot holes blocking a lot of the road, a jeep and courage is needed. Secluded beaches means you will find the most beautiful beach on Vieques. It's very possible to get a huge stretch of the beach all to yourself.... More

Even if the road is bad it's worth the short walk! Great beach, beautiful sand! We had a great time and not crowded at all!!

We went to 8 beaches on Vieques and Playa Navio was by far my favorite. Soft, fine sand, clear waters, nice waves for swimming. It feels pretty private with far fewer people than some of the bigger beaches, get there early and you'll be on your own for a bit!

Don't be afraid of the drive. It's .4 miles from Luna Beach and its bumpy in that section of road but not like the reviews say. For anyone that's driven a dirt mountain road this is a piece of cake. The beach is amazing. White sand, large waves for playing. We were here end of December and couldn't access the... More

Although it's a rough dirt road to get there, the waves are great. No facilities. Park in designated areas or get a ticket. Beautiful and remote.

Made our way to Navio early in our vacation week. Definitely need 4wd to get there and its a rough ride (particularly after a good rain) but the reward is definitely worth the journey. Beautiful white sand, crystal clear water, caves to explore, cliff diving from rocks to the right of the beach, and not a soul in sight... Like... More
