Enter through Sun Bay Beach gate and keep driving for 1.5 miles aprox. The water is very clear and not many people go there because of the long dirt road leading to it so rent a Jeep. Bring water and supplies.

We went to the Sun Bay complex and visited Media Luna and Navio beaches and loved both of them (and we're from the Florida Gulf Coast). We were uncertain about driving the rental to Navio and decided to take the walk instead. Turns out it's just a short distance and well worth the walk. My daughter and I explored the... More

You need a jeep to get here, but it is worth the trouble, the bumpy road and the feelings that you are navigating the jungle to get there. On a recent visit, over most of the day, there were only two other groups of people on the entire beach. It was incredibly relaxing and wonderful to experience. There are no... More

It's an adventure getting there (4x4 only), and when you finally do, it's kind of a let-down: a small beach, mostly overrun by seaweed and vegetation.

We spent 2 days at this beach. Day 1 was very crowded as it was during a local holiday and on a weekend. But the water was so warm and inviting and the surf was great. Day 2 was much less crowded and we practically had the entire beach to ourselves. My favorite beach on Vieques.

One of the busier beaches we went to in August, a little tight to lay out in my opinion, some opportunities to snorkel, don't miss out!

Navio beach is tough to get to, but that means there is almost nobody there. Most people stop at sun bay, but keep going to get to this beautiful spot. the waves are fun to swim in. the caves are beautiful. The and is nice. The one downside is there is a higher level of seaweed on the actual beach.... More

This beach was beautiful, the surf rough. Great beach to body surf or boogie board on, but I would not recommend it to families with young kids.

This beach was amazing. Sure, it's hard to get to, but worth the trail to get here. The water is perfect, the sand is softer than most of the sand in Vieques and the beach is generally quiet. This was my favorite beach in Vieques.
