Powder white sand and lots of sea creatures. Calm water that you can wade in (waist deep) for 40 feet out into the bay.

Sun Bay is delightful & easy to get to. Navio is not great to swim at and impossible to get to. Media Luna is right in between in both regards - so why not go to Sun Bay!?

What an incredible beach! Hard to find more beautiful, peaceful setting! White sand. turquoise water, calm surf: just like a natural swimming pool! Drive is a little rough to get to it but worth it.

Pretty place to hang out, not to swim...rocky and a bit hard to get to but worth the effort to have a picnic and put your feet in the water.

The 5 minute or so drive down a pot-holed dirt road & the small admission fee are small prices to pay to get to this beautiful spot. Ideal for children & poor swimmers, the water is shallow & gentle for quite a distance. The bottom is sand in some spots but with a lot of patches of eel grass. Not... More

It's a picture-perfect little beach, where you can sit in the shade and look out on the bay through the trees. No waves, so pick a seaweed-less spot and sit out on the water with a cold beer.

Beautiful. Calm, clear, shallow waters. Places for shade. Only draw back was a stench close to the parking lot. Not sure if the smell was from trash or what but if the wind blew just right, it was really stinky!

This beach was amazing. We got there around 9am and were the only ones on the beach except for a few wild horses. Truly an awesome experience. The water is about a foot deep for 30 yards which makes this great for little ones that can walk. Very calm waters too.

This beach is a pretty beach and very shallow with little to no surf. It is a great place to go with kids- bring a float of your own too! There was a tropical storm during our visit to Vieques, so there was a lot of seaweed on the back of the beach, but I attributed that to what the... More

Easy to get to, convenient. Lots of shade. Tried to find Navio Beach (with rocks and caves) which was adjacent but never figured it out. The sand here is super fine almost like talcum; we were rubbing it all over our arms and legs for the exfoliation.
