This is beach have really shallow water is great for the kinds and because is really calm. In order to reach Media Luna you have to go to Sun Bay and head left. Just follow the signs is only a couple of minutes by car.

Was anxious to start our journey there, but too much seaweed. Almost 2 foot at start of beach and some rough waves. We continued on down to Navio Beach instead!

This beach was pretty but there is just so much rubbish! There are empty plastic bottles lying around and beer cans too.

My husband and I found a piece of sand under a tree to establish our beach spot. They weren't more than a dozen people on the beach The water was clear enough to see some fish and take pictures! The scenery was beautiful.

Take a lot of water, some kind of shade and enjoyI. This beach is great for kids because is very calm and not deep. But you need to take all with you including a trash bag to pick up everything and leave it clean

We had several shoots of my movie here, it can look like a beach in Europe or Africa at the same time, the water is transparent and there are little cabanas to enjoy. I highly recommend this beach, it is close to Sun Bay and really peaceful

Of all the beaches on Vieques, this one was the one we went back to again because it was so perfect for little kids. Very shallow, very empty (!) and the water was warm and calm. I highly recommend, plus there is shade via the palm and guayacan trees.

We went here for some great scenery. This is a nice area to look for shells, sea glass and misc. items that wash up on the beach. It is very stony and has many rocks to explore. A very secluded area, we were the only ones scouring the beach the day we went. It was windy that day and the... More

Previous reviewers have gotten the details right: beautiful beach, shallow water far out, nasty road leading there. I thought I would mention we didn't find it great for snorkeling. After the bay begins to get deeper, there's aquatic vegetation but the water is very murky and we didn't see any fish. Fairly good signage after driving east past the parking... More
