We were told my locals to make sure the biobay was at least 50% so when we called to make reservations we asked and the person taking our reservation told us it was at 85%. Our group was thrilled going into the tour to see what everyone was talking about. When we finally reached Mosquito Bay the guide started telling... More

It's hard to believe that Abe's has been doing this tour for years, as it seemed like this was the first time that anyone in the company had ever done the tour. The bay itself is pretty neat (I don't think it was glowing at more than about 50% when I went), and getting to kayak at night, as the... More

100% suggest this co and tours to anyone. We had a blast! Our tour guide was Cristobalina and she was amazing-very knowledgable and fun. My then fiancé and I did the whole day tour with the mangrove trees, snorkeling, and the night tour. It was unforgettable. Although the snorkeling wasn't the best I've seen, everything else surpassed my expectations. Piece... More

We choose abes because the other decent bio bay tour operator was closed- they do a fine job once everyone is in the water, but everything leading to that point is a bit crazy. The check in process - waiting for buses and for everyone to fill out consent forms, could all be streamlined. They said the bay was glowing... More

The owner of the business is extremely ethical. Our night was partially interupted by a film crew on the bay. Abe was sincerely apologetic as he did not know they were there and he immediately made good on providing excellent customer service. They did their very best to make the night as great as possible. I would recommend and trust... More

My tour guide for la Chiva beach snorkeling and the bio bay tour was Rafeal. He was very smart, funny, and down to earth. The team was organized and showed a passion for what they do. They made sure we all had a great and memorable time!!

We loved our tour with Carlitos! We kayaked through and took a mud bath in the mangrove. We snorkeled and then he taught us how to climb a coconut tree and also how to crack open a coconut. He built a fire on the beach where we ate dinner and then we kayaked into the bio bay. It was a... More

We went on a biobay night tour with Abe's and it was spectacular! There were 30-40 people on the tour, which at first made it slow going for checking everyone in, distributing life-jackets, etc. Once the tour started though, it was clear they knew what they were doing. There were 4 guides in total who were with us in the... More

The snorkeling tour was simply awesome. We got Jeff as our tour guide and the group was small with 5 people - he was super helpful and so much fun! A little kayaking and snorkeling. The water was clear and you can see fishes!

I'm just not sure we should have done the tour. The BioBay (as I've written elsewhere), is a shadow of it's former self. Is it because of us? Well, of course, the the grand US tone. Are you contributing to it's demise by going on a tour? Hard to tell. But it's not glowing much and all of the above... More
