Simply espectacular!

Beautiful beach, white sand, clear water. Easy access, parking available. Not many available areas to cover from the sun, so take your umbrella with you.

A beautiful crescent beach with gorgeous blue/green water. There are palm trees, mild waves and a nice breeze. There are multiple permanent covered areas with tables just off the beach which are great for lunch or getting out of the shade. There also is a composting porta-potty which is clean and doesn't have a strong odor.

Just breath taking! Snorkeled here and saw a Hawksbill Turtle! All the beaches located at the Wildlife rescue will take your breath away.

Here is our beach rating (family of 4-2 teenagers) 1. Caracas 2. Sun Bay 3. Playa Plata 4. Navio We were mainly there for swimming and sunbathing. Did not do snorkeling. We wanted to do some boogie boarding and Navio is supposed to be one of the better ones for that on Caribbean side, but waves were not big enough... More

This beach is particularly lovely in the early morning before most people get there. Several casitas offer shade to beach goers who nab them early. I love to take my easel and paint there; when I'm done I plunge in to enjoy the turquoise water I've been painting. I visited late in the afternoon recently and found it was fairly... More

Beautiful beach with clear water and fine sand. The best beach on the island in our opinion. Easy to get to and tons of parking!

This beach is so beautiful white sand blue waters the only thing is it gets a little crowded on the weekends so it is not like most beaches that you have about a mile of a beach for your self but it is defiantly one of the number one beaches to go to.

This is a wonderful, beautiful beach with great sand, fun water and even some services, including shaded tables (get there early to grab one), bathrooms (rustic) and lots of parking. The water can get pretty boisterous but the real crazy stuff is off to the west, near the rocks. Snorkeling is limited, but swimming and fun in the surf is... More

To get here, take Route 997 and turn at the "Sol Food" Truck to get into the refuge. Go about 1.7 miles and turn right (the signs refer to the beach as "Playa Caracas") and go to the end of the road (about .75 miles). There is ample parking about 20 feet from the beach, and a few wooden cabanas... More
