We just finished the tour and cannot say enough great things! First, the driver was super nice and very professional. Second, the tour guides were outstanding. My daughter was lucky enough to ride with JJ since she was solo. She had such an amazing time and said he was so funny and full of information. My boyfriend and I enjoyed... More

I already reviewed the Bay itself, check that out (you MUST GO SEE IT!) I'm pleased with Black Beard's service; they were easy to find (we were picked up in Isabel) and gave a good tour. I picked them because they only allow 10 persons per tour (compared to other companies 16+). The guides knew their information and were pleasant.... More

We had planned on doing the boat dive but because of weather they recommended to do the mosquito pier dive. I'm happy to say it came out to be great. The 1st tank dive around the reef is not that jaw dropping but the pier dive is amazing!! Incredible views and many fishes, tortoise, even a squid. Also, our instructor... More

My family was on vacation for 10 days in Vieques. We wanted to get out and see some of the island. Black Beard sports picked us up and drove us through the former Navy Base until we got to Green Beach. The staff was really nice and friendly! They knew a ton of history regarding the island. The snorkeling was... More

We had a group of 8 and several of us had been to Vieques before...so we had 4 that did a Bio Bay trip they enjoyed and 3 of us braved a paddleboard lesson...and we are all well over 50! Our guide Billy was a hoot...but he had us all UP standing and paddling on our own in Hurricane Hole,... More

Our family of three went snorkeling at Green Bay with Thor. None of us have much experience snorkeling, so we requested something very mellow. Even though the drive was rough, the location was worth it. Thor was a great, patient instructor, and an excellent guide. After overcoming our fears of breathing out of a tube, we paddled out from shore... More

The dive master and boat captain met us on time at the shop. They were already set up with tanks and their gear, got everything organized quickly. The boat was trailered, which was nice because it minimized the time in the waves. We set up on the dock, then went straight to the site. As usual, we were a bit... More

We opted to go with Black Beard because we were staying at the W and they were conveniently located on the property. I'm so glad we made that decision! The tour was great from the on-time departure to the extreme car they take to make sure everyone is happy and safe throughout the trip. We kayaked about 3/4 of a... More

The people and shop are great, many have been there for quite some time which says a lot about the business. The diving was good, it was my first shore diving experience. Really liked the boat dive where we could go a little deeper and saw a hammer head shark and a reef shark. That was really cool! Hope to... More

We enjoyed their bio-bay tour so much that we booked a snorkeling adventure with them the next day. Both were awesome. Guides were helpful, friendly, eager to share info about the island. Black Beard is conveniently located almost next to the Post Office. Parking is not too hard to find.
