This was one of the stops on a tour of the rainforest. There is a small gift shop and restrooms at the bottom of the tower. I believe it is 98 steps to the top, with some cool breezes that come through while climbing. Not a hard climb but is not suitable for everyone. Bring your camera and binoculars!

This was one of our stops while driving the rain forest. It was a clear day and a very nice view from the top. The stairs are quite easy to climb and there is a scope at the top, so bring your quarters. The bathrooms were closed the day we were there, as they said no water was available. Small... More

When we heard we had to walk up over 90 steps I was not looking forward to this. Once we made it to the top it was amazing, we were able to view most of Puerto Rico. We were able to take great pictures and experience something in our lives that we can add to our bucket list.

The 98 steps up did not seem difficult due to the cool weather and spacing of the steps. Was it worth the trip up? If you are healthy, yes. We were not able to go entirely 360 degrees around the top but we enjoyed the beautiful view.

After la Mina trail, I didn't think I would be able to walk another step. However, I walked the 98 steps up Yokahu tower. You should too. Simply breathtaking green magnificence!!

The tower is nice, and no trouble to get to at all. I however would not say that it is necessary to climb to the top, as El Yunque has a ton of beautiful views that you have probably already seen by this point. Ultimately, if you're driving past it, it's nice to look at, but I wouldn't go out... More

I hate heights but I would definitely recommend visiting this place when in El Yunque! It was so great to see a 360 view of the rain forest and you can see Fajardo from there. The best pictures I have of our entire trip is from this tower! It's pretty easy to climb and there's a lot of space ontop... More

This tower offers great views of the rainforest surroundings and opportunity for nice pictures. On your visit to the rainforest, this is a must see in addition to some of the waterfalls.

The view on this tower were absolutely stunning. We got to admire a portion of the coast of Puerto Rico as well as enjoy the lush vegetation. Many flights of stairs, so be aware if you may struggle to reach the top.

This is an observatory tower specially made for tourists and it allows you to see the mountains and also you can see Fajardo from the top. It is very easy to walk up and there is a shop on the ground floor.
