Superb house and views

Don't miss the tranquil Japanese gardens in the shadow of the main house. The little shop at the base of the cross was also really intriguing.

We enjoyed our tour of this historical home. Beautifully restored with many original features. We were interested to Learn about the sugar cane production and making of Don Q rum. You can buy a drink or rum to take with you on the property. We also visited the Japanese gardens and huge cross with observation deck. Don't skip visiting Ponce's... More

Beautiful place and it's great for picture taking! You'll need to buy tickets at the little shed on your way up to the castle. Make sure when you drive to it to watch for the street signs pointing to the correct road to take . My gps was way off and took me up a very very steep dead end... More

We drove from Rio Grande, so expect a 1.5 - 2 hour drive each way. When you get there, just get the tour of the Castle grounds. My wife and I paid for access to the Japanese Gardens and the cross structure as well, and I can assure you that it was not worth it. However, the entire cost for... More

I'm from New York ,I had a destination wedding my reception was at the west terrace of the Castillo 4 years ago. This year we decided to celebrate our anniversary in Puerto Rico & spend our actual anniversary date taking a tour of the museum. Best decision ever we were fortunate to have Wilfredo as our tour guide he was... More

I visited here recently as part of a tour group visiting the island. We began with a short film and then we had an informative and interesting tour from a docent and learned a great deal about the Serralles family, the beginnings of the sugarcane and rum industry on the island. We learned that this Spanish Moroccan style house was... More

It's an historic place from 1900s. Take a tour it's worth it. Tour guide will take you to a small theater room & present a 20 min movie of the... More
