If you want to learn about the history of the (what i call) real rum of Puerto Rico, then you need to make a trip to here. Photos or recording devices are not allowed to be used inside so it is one of those trips that you will remember because you have to. The history of this family and the... More

The tour here lasts about an hour and goes through the castle giving information on how the family got their start in the Rum and sugar business. It's a beautiful home to tour and the views are stunning. This takes around an hour but can take more if you decide to tour the on ground gardens and if they have... More

This attraction is not open every day and you can only visit it at specific hours, so i advised to do some research before going. The gardens inside the castle are well maintained and the structure itself very clean. There's also another attraction nearby so this is a place worth to visit if you're in Ponce.

Good tour and place to visit if you are in the area, it's operated by the Municipality of Ponce, not the Serralles family. 1 hour duration in a 12,000 sq ft house with many details and pictures to see, you cannot take video or pictures throughout the tour. Don't expect complimentary drinks.

Very interesting to visit and learn about one of the most important families in Ponce. Their contribution to the economy in the sugar industry and rum production. They also have a tasting room.

This by far was the nicest attraction in Ponce. The home is very well kept and the guide was very informative. I forgot his name, but he was good in answering all the questions in Spanish and English. The story of the family and the business was interesting also. All the rooms were very nice and so clean. Only wish... More

This museum is not free. You are not allowed to take pictures for some reason. There is some nice period furniture, but it could be better maintained. Overall could be improved, or should include some kind of tasting for adults as they do at the bacardi distellery.

This historical mansion and museum was the home of the Serrallés Family of Don Q Rum fame. It is extremely well preserved with beautiful gardens and amazing views of the city of Ponce and the Caribbean Sea. A documentary is offered in an air conditioned amphitheater along with a tour of the mansion. You can also walk around the gardens... More
