This is a beautiful cathedral in Ponce, one of the must-sees when walking around the main square. It's easy to get to (it's not always open, though). If it's not open, just looking at the facade is a treat. Nice architecture!

Always open. A big attraction for tourist and Catholics. It's located in the middle of plaza las delicias and is always full.

This church is beautiful and centrally located right on the main square...the only negative is it seems locked up tight most of the time.

One of many beautiful cathedral located in Puerto Rico. Right in the center of the towns square and next to the Parque de Bombas, an old firefighting museum. It has restaurants and stores all around the square. Is really a touch of the Catholic past in a familiar tropical scene. Beautiful scene.

as the location of the Cathedral is the most picturesque square in Ponce, it is a very good visit in combination with el parquet de bombas and some of the colonial building adjacent to the square. A worthy visit

Right on the town square - beattiful building and still used daily from what I could see. Classic spainish church and wonderful statues.

We note the cathedral was well maintained on the exterior, paint and trim were fresh. But it appears changes has struck another old favorite. It was not open to the public like it used to be. Perhaps the city fathers assume everyone wants to go to the mall and the fast food outlets. That could not be farther from the... More

I love visiting old churches. I feel like going back in time when I see the architecture. I also feel a sense of peace. This church was no different. It was a gorgeous cathedral. And provided a shelter in the crazy unpredictable Puerto Rican rain

Ages old church in the middle of the Las Delicias Plaza. Beautiful inside, pigeons kill the outside. Right behind the Parque de Bombas. Do not walk too far away from the plaza, as security decreases and the areas around are not healthy to walk in. Careful in the small Arab stores, ask for your receipt!
