Go!!

One of the most delightful art museums we have ever visited! And the coffee shop inside the front door is just as memorable as the museum.

Although small compared to others, the content and display of the Art is spectacular. Some world class originals are part of their collection.

The Ponce Museo de Arte is an absolute jewel. I spent several hours visiting the Pre-Raphaelite works as well as French, Italian and other European art from several centuries. There is a small coffee shop with snacks at the side entrance and a bar/restaurant toward the back next to the gift shop. The gift shop did not have a lot... More

If the exhibit with the pictures comparing Puerto Rico from 1940 and 1980 is still there, that part was worth it. If you like historical english, spanish, and italian art they have a pretty good collection. I would hesitate to take children into the main gallery unless they understand that art is not porn (there are many many naked women... More

The museum building is beautiful and modern. The collection trends towards very religious art but it was nice to see the work of some local Puerto Rican artists. There were a few lesser known works by European artists but mostly artists I had never heard of.

I had honestly never visited a museum before, having never seen the value. We had brunch at the restaurant and decided to try it. So glad that we did! Amazing art!!

The museum is beautiful - truly stunning; the docents knowledgeable and passionate about the art; admission is inexpensive. There is a small parking lot beside the museum and also "on street" parking in front and behind the museum. And there is a gift shop, snack shop and a restaurant. The staff is very friendly. They love the museum and seem... More

I remember the 1st time I visited this place as a child I was mesmerized by the quality of paintings I saw. Years later I visited the museum again, and was again taken aback by so much art, colors, history... They even had a vegigante mask exposition.
