Excellent place, the collections are impressive. The building's sequence, gardens and light make it feel a special place. The knowledge of the staff is excellent, talking to any of them feels like taking an art class. More

We went to Ponce just to see its world-known museum, but it was a big disappointment. The collection is good, but it is displayed in a very silly way, mixing art from different periods and schools without explaining why and displaying contemporary works in front of it, so it was difficult to actually appreciate the art. Also, it was freezing... More

Really excellent art musuem. I did see a special exhibition from the Prado in Madrid with works by Goya, El Greco and Valazquez. Much of the art is older with not much contemporary but I enjoyed my visit. They also have a nice restaurant overlooking the scuplture garden. More

It is a really nice little museum with an eclectic collection. You need about 90 minutes to traverse the whole place. It also has a restaurant but we did not try it. It has a decent modern section and lots of great old works of art too. If you are doing a Ponce Tour, it is definitely worth a visit. More

I'd read a review comparing this museum to the Louvre, and it was no exaggeration. Beautiful works of art beautifully presented. The three Rodin sculptures alone were worth the trip (though they aren't large ones). It was the perfect follow up to our morning snorkling in Salinas. More

A great museum. Both the traveling exhibit and permanent collection are very impressive. I paid a buck or two for the audio tour which was well worth it. More

East End Newcomers and the AAPR Watercolor Society were eager to visit the museum following the renovations. 29 seniors were delighted with the new exhibits, the permanent displays and were pleasantly surprised at the refreshed framing of Flaming June, the signature piece and a long time favorite. We found the organization of the exhibits comfortable for viewing, as they are... More

The Museo de Arte de Ponce is a surprise! It is located in a modern building, however, the art is far from modern. Their are great works by a lot of Dutch masters, but also Spanish, Italian and even American artists. The museum has two floors with an easy layout in order to flow through and view the pieces. In...
