Administrator is the mayor wife and what is happening to the town is happening to the Zoo. Animal walk like zombies the one that are able to do so. Where is the money? Same question that we are all used to. If you feel like crying dont come. We need a huge miracle to rebuild the facility, get pair for... More

I went in not expecting much but I severely underestimated the experience. The giraffe is no longer at the zoo! It's like walking around a rain forest with the ability to see wild animals. My kids 3 and 5 loved it. While we were there we were hit with a severe thunderstorm and torrential downpour. They have areas around the... More

We read all the reviews thinking that we would find animals sleeping, empty cages and others situations but was completely different. Maybe the zoo take notes to do it better. During our visit on July 21, 2014 with a child of 7 years old, and two adults was amazing. Every cage was with animals like variety of birds, variety of... More

This is a small zoo, to me the entrance fee was a bit overpriced for what I saw inside. If you are in San Juan visiting I wouldn't recommend taking the long trip to visit this zoo. The animals looked like they were unhappy, like way unhappy than usual and the turtles didn't look healthy by the looks of its... More

I took my 4 year old son to this zoo and it was a lil bit pricey for such a small zoo. The animals looked sick and very skinny. It was dirty and depressing. The upkeep of the zoo needs some desperate help. Definitely not worth the trip; however, I'm glad I was able to help the poor animals by... More

First of all I will say this is a fun place to visit. But I gotta say it's a little over price. You have to pay when you enter the parking, later you start your own tour. The attractions like the butterflies are a little tricky to see since they are not always open. Lots of the food places are,now... More

I went to this zoo last week. The exhibits seemed acceptable and to code. I only found issues with two inclosures being too small, the Bear area and the Pigs area. All other animals seemed healthy and well cared for. There is an obvious lack of funding with limited employees and grounds keepers. With proper finding and support I feel... More

We went to Puerto Rico to visit our 1 year old grandson and decided to take him to the zoo. I'm so glad he will not remember this experience. The only animals that seemed happy and content were the aquatic wildlife, fish, turtles, amphibious creatures and birds. The black bears were lethargic, very thin and were not even moving. The... I felt more a personalize visit because the animals are there so near to you, that is a pleasure to see them... More

We had high hopes for this zoo considering the location and wanted to take our toddler to enjoy the animals. Unfortunately we stumbled on a dead and swollen racoon and tried to report it. The front staff said they were short staffed and unable to respond. Considering we paid $13 an adult this was an expensive outing and many exhibits... More
