We went on a weekday, Sept 18, 2014. The zoo opens Wed-Sun at 8:30 AM. Fee for Adults, ages 12-64 is $13 and Seniors, 65 and up, $6.50. Parking is $3. It was impressive. We saw lions, tigers, cougars, an elephant, bears, Vietnamese pigs, ostriches, peacocks, donkeys, llamas, monkeys, slothe, raccoons, caimans, bald eagle, among other wild life. They also... More

Sadly the animals look like they want to hang themselves. Over priced for the poor keep of the zoo. ($13) I took my son and nephew when they were months old and it was in poor condition back then; took my nephews baby who's is 7 months old and the place hasn't improved a bit!!! DOESNT ANYONE CHECK INTO THESE... More

I was very disappointed at the conditions of the zoo and the animals. I saw very little personnel around. All of the snack areas where closed. For the price of $13 it's really not worth the visit. To top it off some areas like the aviary, the aquarium, where the Giraffes are located where closed for feeding. I saw 2 butterflies... More

You need to understand that there is very little support or interest to the zoos in Puerto Rico, but this one somehow survives, and it is very good compared to any other place in Latin America. There is a good representation of African and Central American fauna, and it has space to grow. It desperately need help from the public,... More

My grand children always ask to go back to the zoo everytime they come to visit us from New York. It is a great place to spend the day.

This place will only seem good to someone who does not attempt any emotional contact with the animals or know nothing about animal behavior. The only animals who seem to be doing just fine are the beautiful birds that run free around the zoo. Big cats have a very small area lions looked hot. The ocelot was simply heartbreaking!! easy/cheap... More

Administrator is the mayor wife and what is happening to the town is happening to the Zoo. Animal walk like zombies the one that are able to do so. Where is the money? Same question that we are all used to. If you feel like crying dont come. We need a huge miracle to rebuild the facility, get pair for... More
