We did the half-day El Yunque Rainforest tour with Raynard and the full-day Toro Negro tour with Raymond and Christina and loved everyone minute of it. Each tour was unique in its own way; we learned a lot about nature and Puerto Rican history on the El Yunque tour and loved the adrenaline rushes on the Toro Negro tour. It... More

my tour was the Toro Negro Full-Day Tour. i did ziplining and rappelling for the first time while on this tour: there wasn't a moment of apprehension because i felt the guides were so great at making sure you did things safely. everybody was very encouraging. just make sure you wear shoes with actual grip (the most dangerous thing was... We came to Puerto Rico for my boyfriends birthday, and did the acampa full day tour our third day. Reynard and Christina were awesome! You do everything from climb waterfalls, rappelling down cliffs, zip lining through the rainforest (only 4 times!!) Swimming and to end it, they feed you an authentic, homemade puerto Rican meal. If you do anything in... More

We did the 1/2 day tour with Raynard to the rain forest. He did an excellent job; very knowledgeable and if he didn't know the answer he would make a note and he e-mailed us the answers! How's that for service?! It was a relaxing slower tour; we had a couple of slow walkers but no problem. He took his... More

From the second the van picked us up this tour was awesome. Our guides were Eduardo and Christina, both of whom were very friendly and knowledgeable. Christina drove the van like a BOSS and Eduardo was catching shrimp and frogs with his bare hands and was very informative about all of the vegetation and wildlife in the rainforest. The hike... I participated in the full day adventure with Acampa and it was stellar! Our tour - Cristina & Raynard - were awesome. They knew what they were talking about, they were helpful and resourceful and fun and funny. The path was just difficult enough that it was incredibly fun, but not impossible to do. At the end, they provided an... More

Highly knowledgeable and professional guides that take you to the central mountain region for a great adventure: A hike that leads to several ziplines, an amazing rappel and a climb up a river. My favorite part: the pool, a natural fresh water pond where they will let you jump into if you feel like it. They provide all the equipment.... More

First and foremost, the guides Raymond and Christina were great people with a passion for the outdoors and preservation of the Toro Negro rainforest. They are very knowledgeable about the ecology as well as adventure side of the trip and you know you are in good hands while zip lining and repelling! The entire adventure is exciting, educational, and a... More

The adventure at Toro Negro was amazing. And it was quite an adventure to get there. Be prepared for a long, twisty trek up the mountain to get to the hiking spot. The hiking was great and I really enjoyed getting in the waterfalls. Our guides, Reynard and Cristina, were awesome. Try to sign-up to go with them. They were... More

The Toro Negro tour we had with Reynard and Christina (our guides) was absolutely amazing! They picked us up and dropped us off right near where we were staying in San Juan. The lunch provided was DELICIOUS! My 2 girlfriends and I were in a group of 7 total with our 2 guides and we all had a blast! By... More
