Fine variety in the museum

A nice collection of artists especially Spanish and Latin American. Fine location and parking garage. Walk around the area to see impressive sculptures.

The museum represents a breath of fresh air in an otherwise tainted community, where cultural and social differences clash constantly; these clashes make the museum necessary, however. The building has been beautifully refurbished and the personnel in the galleries are all attentive, yet unobtrusive. I truly enjoyed the work of students from different nearby schools stressing the museum's community outreach... More

An excelent evening. Easy to find if you are not familiar with the area, parking on site and very helpful employees. This was a school turned into a Museum...beautiful construction. I did not see handicapped access, but I did see elevators!

Great building. Eclectic collection: new art, political art, historical art, questionable art. Most translated into English, but not all. Very friendly & helpful guides. Small gift shop. No cafe. We spent 2 hours there including a picnic lunch. Tip: you can park on the grounds if not crowded.

We enjoyed the Puerto Rico Museum of Art a lot more than this one. Maybe I'm just not that into Contemporary Art, but it all was a little weird for my girls (7 & 10)and I. They just ask that you make a donation to get in, not mandatory.

I enjoyed this museum, though not as much as some of the other art museums in San Juan. It's a bit off the beaten path, in a non-touristy neighborhood in Santurce. Some really nice abstracts, experimental paintings. There was a Paisaje de Puerto Rico exhibit with some interesting landscapes when I was there. Call me an art critic, but a... More

We enjoyed our visit to this exquisite museum. The variety of local and international artists is worth the trip. May of the artists exhibited during our visit are well known in the international arena. The works of art where interesting, modern, and edgy. I love the gift shop and the diversity of books and multimedia offered there. The museum is... More

It did not work for us. Walking up, the security guard gruffly told us to use the steps and not the wide ramp. Then, at the reception desk, the entry fee is by donation. I inserted our money into the marked slot only to be quickly chastened that the donations must be given at the NEXT desk. Humbled, we trod... More
