What a fantastic experience. We had been to San Juan before and were not sure we were going to leave our cruise ship this time but a friend booked this walking tour. Sure are glad we did this. Paulina and Gustavo were the best hosts, so friendly and fun to be with. They answered all our questions about San Juan... More

If you love good food, good company and good drinks, you should take Spoon Food Tours Sip and Savor tour! And you learn some things about the people, the culture and history of Puerto Rico! My thanks to Paulina who was gracious enough to accept my last minute request to join the tour with my friends! Caroline and Gustavo were... More

Book a tour with Paulina and Gustavo- do not even hesitate! You will NOT be disappointed. This was one of the best experiences we had on our vacation!! You feel like you are touring with old friends- there is never a lack of conversation, they are knowledgeable, entertaining, genuine and accommodating. This tour gave us an “insiders” taste of the... The tour provided more than we expected. 4 stops for excellent local food or coffee, a trip to a beachside restaurant outside of San Juan (not always on the agenda) with constant commentary on restaurants, history, culture and answers to any questions by our guide Paulina who is incredibly enthusiastic and adorable. She did a great job of making us... More

We just finished the lunch tour, and it was perfect. The food was amazing, and Paulina was a fantastic tour guide. She was instantly likable and extremely well versed in the food and culture of San Juan. Every question we had was answered, including great food recommendations for the rest of our stay. I would suggest this company to anyone... More

I had never been on a food tour before this one and if all of them are like this, it won't be the last. I had such a great time on this food tour. One of the things I loved was that it featured only authentic Puerto Rican local dishes. Gustavo was extremely knowledgable about all the foods and place... More

This was our first time to Puerto Rico and the Afternoon "Spoon Food" tour was a great introduction to the areas of San Juan, foods of San Juan, cultures of San Juan and architecture of San Juan! Paulina anf Gustavo were our guides and were wonderful to spend an afternoon with. They obviously love what they have created, justifiably so,... More

We had the pleasure of having Caroline all to ourselves for the San Juan walking tour. We were a bit late due to us only realising after we had got off our cruise ship that ship time was an hour behind San Juan time! None the less Caroline waited for us and I am so pleased that she did. She... More

We were a group of 4 and we had the good fortune of having Paulina, one of the co-owners, be our guide for a mid-day lunch tour. We can reiterate everything that all the other reviewers have said. Paulina made us all feel instantly welcomed, we visited several amazingly quaint restaurants and a coffee house, she knows absolutely everything you... More

Gustavo and Caroline couldn't have been warmer or more delightful on our rum-soaked tour through the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, plus every cocktail we had was truly superb. We started the tour as guests and finished as a group of friends at the coolest speakeasy in the city deep in conversation. I can't recommend this enough if you're... More
