I have 2 teenage daughters who are mall/shopping "experts" and they loved this mall. It is huge and has a mix of bargain and high end stores. All the same stores as the U.S. and some unique boutiques also. Unfortunately, it was not any cheaper.

Plaza las Americas may be close to a 'Mega Mall', but that is the problem. Most stores are very expensive, so even a few hundred dollars dont last long. Lots of empty spaces due to the economy. However, it is still a good place to get some free ac on a hot day.

Any type of store you want, you can find in this mall. I guess it would be comparable to Mall of America in Minnesota. The mall opens at 9am, and I would suggest getting there at that time. Shopping (and the drivers) are horrible, you might want to just pay for the valet parking as it's only $6.

Nice and big mall....all your typical stores. Good to walk and look around. Have lunch on one of the many restaurants and even find a deal or two...

My husband and I are from Houston and we have quite a few malls around here so this mall wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Its a big size and lots of shops but most everything you can find in the states. It's a nice way to spend a few hours walking around and its a really good stop if... More

Nice selection of stores..even though I find it a little pricey! Parking is terrible! Good variety of restaurants.

It is your typical shopping mall. Nothing special. It was a good place to go if it is raining or you've had too much sun.

Every time I have the opportunity, I visit this place. There are some excellent stores and restaurants. The place is very crowded, specially in the weekends, so finding a good parking spot can be a pain in the head.

You maybe wouldn't expect this in San Juan, but the mall has great stores, with the same prices of any city in the US (48 states). And the best, the mall is not full of millions of tourists 24 hours...
