We had a great half day of fishing with Paco recently in Puerto Rico. We met at a large lake south of San Juan to go bass fishing for a half day. Paco was very professional and helpful to both of us. A great guide is determined not only by how well they find the fish, but how helpful they... More

Living in west Texas, the opportunity to catch fresh water fish is rare because of the drought conditions. When planning our vacation, I looked for a location that had fresh water lakes in a tropical location. Puerto Rio fit the bill and thanks to Tripadvisor we booked with Capt. Paco and were able to land many rainbow and peacock bass... More

I have fished these same waters with other guides. Without a doubt, Paco has a better understanding of where the fish are and when you are most likely to catch them. We had ten strikes in three hours, ultimately getting two in the boat. I originally was looking for a peacock bass trip, but Paco assured me the tarpon were... More

We fished with Captain Paco on February 26th and had a great time. Paco is a fun guy and easy to be with. Paco picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Condado which was a great convenience since we didn't rent a car. He gave us lots of information on our way to the lake and... More

We fished for 4 hours with Paco, catching about twenty fish. He uses high quality reels, hooks and rods, and maintains his equipment well. The river fishing trip is perfect for kids, and Paco worked well with my son, giving him guidance, and helping him throughout the day. He picked us up at our hotel in Condado, took us for... More

Had a GREAT!!! trip with Capt. Paco on February 20. My wife Lisa, sister Terri, and I had a wonderful trip. We started with a fun boat ride seeing the native birds, iguanas in the trees as we rode to our first fishing spot. We caught Peacocks, Rainbow Bass, and Red Devils. Paco put us on them from the start... More

I highly recommend fishing with Capt. Paco! We found him on the Internet to do some peacock bass fishing. He made us feel welcome and comfortable immediately. The fishing conditions were terrible, low-pressure and lots of rain. We still caught peacock bass and beautiful rainbow bass. My wife and I had so much fun fishing with Capt. Parco, I went... More

Poco was awesome. Worked hard to put us on fish. He even went swimming to retrieve my glasses. Great with experienced and new fisherman. Will use again!
