Had an amazing time with captain Paco, he is super friendly. 2nd time fishing with captain Paco. 1st time was for peacock bass, 2nd time was for tarpon. If u like a good fight then go for tarpon. He also picked us up from our hotel & took us back.

I don't even know where to begin, but all I can say is I just had the most amazing adventure with Paco and I definitely will be feeling it in the morning. We started out at 6:15 a.m. this morning and were out on the water for about 3.5 hours without a bite. Then came the only bite I got... More

We have fished our entire lives and hired many, many guides throughout the years. I was terribly disappointed in fishing with Capt. Paco. It wasn't that we did not get one single bite of tarpon (we were scheduled to go Peacock Bass fishing but he changed it on us that morning when he picked us up.) He was unprepared as... More

Thank you for your review. With all due respect we cuaght fish that day. That morning I explained the situation before to your husband that it had been raining all night long and it was going to rain more in lake Carraizo were the peacock bass are located. I'm a very honest, hardworking fishing guide that loves to provide the... More

I have been fishing for 20+ years and Captain Paco is one of the best tour guides i have come across. He is very knowledgeable about the surrounding waters and the wildlife that lives there. We were on a 4 hour trip leaving at 6 am and spent over half that time fighting the best fish of my life. The... More

Capt. Paco is a standout guide. He is prompt, professional, extremely easy to work with and knows where the tarpon are hiding. We caught a 95 lb. tarpon. Beautiful day and great experience. We went a second day for peacock bass in the lake. It was fine but didn't compare to the tarpon experience. If we go again, we would... More

If you come to Puerto Rico and do not fish with Captain Paco you have made a mistake. My wife and I fished with Captain Paco two days ans I have to say it was a couple of the best trips we had ever been on. Day one was Tarpon and while it was a little slow due to conditions... More

After fishing my entire life, it had never crossed my mind that I would find myself fishing in Puerto Rico, let alone fishing for tarpon. A week in advance I found Capt. Paco on his website Peacock Bass and Tarpon Tours. com and booked for a tarpon and snook excursion in San Juan. He sent a cab, which arrived early,... More

I have been coming to Puerto Rico to fish with Paco for going on 6 years now. I have been fortunate enough to fish with multiple guides in my life, but Paco is the best. Every trip has been a success. He sends a taxi to pick us up at 6am, we are on the water by 6:15 and casting... More

Again having fun with a good friend and tarpon. Paco picks me up, gets me fish, and brings me back to my hotel. I go to Puerto Rico once a year and call Paco ahead of time. If you haven,t experienced tarpon fishing give Paco a call. Look him up on peacockbass and tarpon tours. Thanks Paco!!!

Had a great trip with Paco. He was very knowledgeable and informative. My husband caught his first tarpon and Paco guided him all the way. I would hire him as a guide again for future trips.
