Located on the corner of Fortaleza St. right in front of Plaza Colon, this quaint theatre has been around since before I was born. Went to see a student production there last month, FAME, and my love for this place was re-ignited. Old world elegance in the Caribbean. Look for upcoming holiday events such as The Nutcracker.

This old theatre has been remodeled and is exquisite. It's location, in the entrance to Old San Juan, is very convenient for visitors.

We went to the theater for a play. Had not been there for many, many years and was surprised to see how elegant it still is and how the restaurations had brought back its splendor. A month ago or so we visited the historic theatre and it was breathtaking. So much history in that old building. It's a gem. The air conditioning was really cold, but the music warmed us, jajaja! I did not see a show in the theater, but the facility is top notch. Had a tour of the dressing rooms and all surrounding area. Very european and deliciously beautiful!

I lime this cozy theater with excellent views and sound. In this theater they present a lot of comedys with excellent artist.

The Tapia theater is an icon. I wish more english speaking activities were available there, especially during the high season. It is a lovely theater with great acoustics.

Closed for repairs, for various years, it was the only theater venue for plays in Old San Juan. Is a small theater in comparison to others in the world, but magnificent and full of history.

It's been a while since I've been, but I remeber this theater as one of my favorites. My favorite thing has to be the seating arrangements. No matter where you are in the theater you feel inmersed in the play. Very pintoresque too, I love it!
