Although this beach is beautiful, clean and the water is clear and warm-- the waves were very rough. We visited in February and stayed at a hotel on this beach. There was a red flag every day we went here warning us of dangerous water conditions. If you have young kids-- they won't be able to swim here. If you're... More

Best beaches in Puerto Rico and safe without peddlers. La concha provides free towels, chairs and umbrellas which was so nice

Condado Beach is a public beach - no fee. It doesn't look big - only 2 blocks long, but big enough for families, tourists and natives to enjoy. The water was blue and warm (even in February) and there was lots of room so you didn't feel crowded. No big waves - its in a cove. The water is shallow... More

What beach isn't pretty amazing when you are on vacation? This beach was walking distance from our hotel (Coral Princess). There were many people. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas (for rent, but also "abandoned" ones from folks who left the beach for the day). Note: chairs/umbrellas by the Marriott got picked up @5p when we were there, but you can... More

Enjoyed this beach, but it wasn't our top choice. It was a nice day, but the waves were really high.

Have a great time at this popular tourist beach. For a few bucks you rent a lounge chair for the day. You'd better rent an umbrella, too: you'll need it eventually to avoid getting too much sun. Great people watching. Flag down a waiter from La Concha Hotel and buy a drink, or several. If you don't like the touristy... More

This beach area is closer to Old San Juan, but it is not as nice as Isla Verde beach; water along both beaches was nice and warm in January. Condado is much narrower and more rocky. The main businesses along Ashford ave are limited and there are lots of old buildings just waiting to be torn down or refurbished. More... More

Because I stayed at the La Concha I had immediate access to the beach. It was peaceful and serene. I had a time to just relax. The neighborhood itself is great as well. Lots of food options and great shopping. I felt safe as this was my first time traveling alone!

I stayed in the Condado area for a day prior to the cruise, and wanted to get a jump start on my tan. I stepped on the beach at the end of the street just west of the Marriott. I walked a little to my left and just before the Atlantic Beach hotel, there was a guy (with a cute... More

I think if its that I give it a 3 star. Following reasons, the beach wasn't as clean as I would prefer to be. The tides were very high. I didn't enjoy that it wasn't crowded and we could walk around without being bothered. The weather was fantastic and the water was one considering it was January. I got to... More
