Talk about convenient! The Condado beach is not the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico, not by a long shot, but it is a bona fide beach right in Condado! That is convenient. There are plenty of food and drink places at various places along the beach including the world famous Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop and cafe!! The... More

Walked this beach everyday for 8 days - The water is warm and the waves are great fun. The beach is very clean - I watched them rake it early in the morning every day. Theres places to be in the shade too if you need a break.

Atlhough the beach is ok to sunbathe on the water is treacherous, my partner was swept up by a huge wave which took him under and broker his shoulder bone resulting in a very stressful trip to the ER room. As we live in UK we were unable to make our planned flight and after being prescribed very strong pain... More

Very touristy... not at all our bag, but depends what you are looking for... rent a car and drive out to los pinones - much prettier beaches and nobody on them :-)

I stopped by Condado Beach after a long day walking in Old San Juan. I was on my own and rented a beach lounge chair for $5. The attendant was really nice and even asked to watch my bag for me, which I declined. I saw a mix of people, tourists and locals. The beach was nice and the water... More

After walking around and seeing all the hotels we ended up at the beach. It was beautiful and peaceful and because it was a little windy there weren't too many people there.

All beaches in Puerto Rico are public so the beach is open to everyone. Don't expect an exclusive beach club atmosphere. The Atlantic waters are warm but the undertow makes swimming dangerous. No lifeguards on duty. Keep your children out of the water unless you hold their hands. That's what I wou do, having nearly drowned there. Also, don't walk... More

We visited this beach when staying at a nearby condo. You can rent chairs and umbrellas. The beach vendors are not aggressive and we enjoyed empanadas and massages from them. Current can be a bit strong, but plenty of folks using boogie boards and beach was family friendly.

Condado Beach is a public Beach that was just right outside our hotel. On weekends a local lady will make drinks right in a coconut for you! Very islandy! The beach is protected from the big waves but can still get a little rough. But when it isn't it would be a good place to snorkel. It isn't a large... More

The beach is two blocks from the hotel and very relaxing. Didn't have to fight for a spot on the beach or deal with loud people. Chairs and towels were given. Seaweeds still in the ground and there was a tractor going up and down the strip picking it up. Overall good for what we were looking for. No water... More
