Everytime we have come here there is something going on. Love to grab a mojo to and people watch. Always music playing and people dancing. Romantic and family friendly. Love it when they have the open market going on. Always stock up on goats milk homemade soap. It's free so how can it be bad. I imagine many a couples... More

It's ok and worth walking to since it's on the way to so many other attractions in OSJ. This is in competition with many seaside attractions in OSJ and other larger fountains in OSJ so it wasn't my favorite. If you're doing a lot of walking in OSJ, it's worth checking out since it has a great location.

Great place to people watch. Only walked by this to find gift shops but would've stayed if I had time.

After 10 years my wife and I came to this plaza and it still looks the same (Thank God). It is a nice place to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing and walking. The people are friendly along with the street vendors selling refreshments. I actually ran into someone who worked for the same company I did... More

The plaza is the main gathering place for both locals and tourist alike. The coffee served at the gazebo is a must.

This plaza was right outside our hotel so I didn't stop often, except maybe for coffee or a bottle of water at the stand that was open long past most other places. This is a great place to sit down. rest your feet, dodge some of the sun and just enjoy being on vacation. The pigeons are thick here and... More

I didn't know this delightful plaza was a TripAdvisor-recognized site when I sat on a bench next to a bronze statue of a man. I thought he was human, not wanting to disturb his gaze of Fuente de 4 Estaciones (Four Statues Fountain) with twisting a map every which way trying to find my whereabouts. This plaza is surrounded by... More

Plaza de Armas is somewhat historic as a major gathering spot in Old San Juan. However, it has note aged well and is full of pigeons and locals who have nothing else to do but hang around and watch the world go by. Skip the square and focus on some of the more interesting places in Old Town.

Plaza de Armas (Arms Square) is Old San Juan's main square, on San José Street. Features four statues representing the four seasons; all are over 100 years old. It was carefully planned as the main city square and has served as a social meeting place. Few street car vendors sell refreshments and light meals. One of the vendors had coffee... More

The Plaza de Armas is an interesting place to see. The statues are interesting. The building surrounding it are interesting, the pigeons are interesting and the people there and passing by are interesting. A place to start your visit to Old San Juan.
