Great tour. I went to the Casa Bacardi which is in Cataño PR not San Juan like it says here. There are 3 choices of tours. A Regular tour for $12 a person, then two upgraded tours each at $35 a person. The Rum tasting tour and the Mixology tour. The wife and I took the mixology tour. This got... More

The tour is... Okay. Too fabricated for my likely, I figured they would bring you closer to where the rum is actually produced and give you a glimpse at the production. Instead the tram drives you around a circle you get off and enter a building which resembles a museum of sorts. Also when entering the grounds walk straight forward... More

The tour is a bit dull. It's interesting to hear the history of the brand and the family, how it was originally made and see the artifacts that they have. However you do not get to see anything of the real process itself. Also the tour used to be free, now that they charge it just seems like it's lacking... More

There is no "factory tour". It's a neat place to check off your tourist list, of course, but the tour includes an 8-minute promotional video from the early 1990s and then a walk through a recreated office and warehouse. You don't actually see anything real on this tour, unless you count the gift shop.

Don't buy the tours online! I believe it was $49 per person just for the Bacardi tour. I would recommend walking around Old San Juan, seeing the forts, and doing the Bacardi tour in the same day. We took a cab from the Condado Plaza Hilton to the first fort. ($15) Then walked around Old San Juan which was awesome.... More

We had a special your with tasting and it was lovely. The staff is really nice especially Chrystal. she was our tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. We ate at Georgina the restaurant on location and the food was superb for the price. Chrystal even gave an in-depth background on why the named the restaurant after the black maid. Will defiantly... The Bacardi tour is excellent, if a little pricey. They are located on a beautiful piece of property across the harbor from Old San Juan. For $12, you can take a basic tour...and it is pretty basic. You just go into their building and look at some pictures, and to a higher floor where the guide points out different parts... More

The tour around the factory was fun and learning about the process of making rum was really interesting, but what was the most memorable part of the tour was the mixology class. They had everything set out for us to make Cuba Libre, Daiquiri, and Mojito, and our tour guide/mixology instructor was really entertaining.
