Went for the Mixology tour and it was a treat. The historical aspect of the tour is educational and the mixology class has its benefits (you drink what you mix) A pleasant afternoon... Eat before you go, there is a little restaurant on the premises but it is not the best.

I appreciated the souvenir cups as well as the token for a drink. I was a little disappointed to know that I couldn't have a pina colada as my comp drink although it was technically cheaper then the rum punch. The rum punch was good though so I was happy. Our tour guide was nice but we had the unfortunate... More

Tour is very well done. Inexpensive at $12 pp considering you receive a full size drink and a glass. Would have liked to visit the distilleries instead of just seeing a video

We got the rum tasting tour. $35 gets you a souvenir glass with a free drink at the end of the tour. You tour the grounds then have a rum tasting of 5 Bacardi rums that come in snifter glasses so it's a little less than a real shot. You also get a certificate at the end. The restaurant Georgina's... Casa Bacardí is the largest rum factory in the Caribbean and possibly in the world. It is just a short ferry ride from the terminal in Old San Juan. You can easily do it on your own or join a tour group. The rum museum is fascinating and the tour guides are very friendly and knowledgable. The tour ends at... More

Took the ferry from Old San Juan ($1 per person round trip!!!) once on the other side there were vans taking groups to the tour ($3 per person). At the Distillery there are three tours to choose from but unfortunately we only had time for the basic tour which is a tram ride around the grounds to the visitor center... More
