Tour is free and you get 2 drinks (that were not watered down). They were as good as if you bought them at the club. It's short, sweet and to the point. Neat stuff in the store. Alcohol price was good but other stuff like shirts, towels, baseball caps I think were overpriced ($23 for a towel? C'mon!) But considering... more

The Bacardi Rum Distillery. I LOVED this place. What’s even better is, the tour is absolutely free and you get 2 free delicious drinks just for showing up. The distillery is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Upon arrival, they give you a colored slip they use to call you when your group’s turn for the tour of... more

I went with my fiance when we were in San Juan. We took the ferry over and split a cab with another group that was there. It was a fun day. We did the tour and enjoyed our free drinks. We also purchased some good stuff to bring back - which was much cheaper than in the US. Plus the... more

We went to Casa Bacardi Sept. 2009. Its a free tour with two free drink tickets (already worth it). You pull up to an outside pavillion, get your drink tickets, and grab a drink if you have time before the next scheduled tour. There is a very quick shuttle ride (about 5 minutes) to Casa Bacardi, and then you are... more

I enjoyed this little Rum tour! We went over to the factory with another couple we were traveling with. We took the Ferry over from Old San Juan, then a van from the Ferry dock with several others. We didn't have to wait long for the tour to begin. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed the history... more

We had a "local" on the flight to Puerto Rico talk my traveling companion into visiting this attraction. We took the ferry which is 50 cents one way. The taxi ride from the pier to the Bacardi plant is $3.00 per person. The free tour is of a very small museum, not the actual factory, some of the history was... more

Not an actual tour of the factory showing how rum is made, but a history of the Bacardi family and their rum making enterprises. You get two tickets for drinks at the end which were good. Two minor gripes: the opening video was just a little risque and it rained the day we went and the tram that took you... more

The Bacardi Rum Tour was not what I thought it would be. It's not an actual tour of the factory, but as others have stated, it's closer to a museum tour. Gives the history of how Bacardi began, how the rum is made, and samples of mixed rum drinks at a bar/pavillion at the end of the tour. I probably... more

The tour does get a little boring but there were some interesting points. I liked the bar demonstration and you can smell all the different bacardi liquors in the barrels. I'm not sure what many refer to about taking the ferry. We stayed at the Marriott in Condando and they had pre-printed directions that did not include any ferry. We... more

I have been on multiple brewery tours, but unfortunately this wasn't quite as good. You don't get to see any of the actual work being performed. You get a history of the brand, see some videos, smell some barrels, and get 2 free drinks. If you have some time to kill, it is probably worth your while. Otherwise it isn't... more
