This is a small, 3 story building in a great location in the center of San Juan. We couldn't go to the 3rd floor cause it rained and we were told it get slippery so they don't close the area. Being limited to the other 2 floors was extremely disappointing when 80% of the exhibits don't work at all. Also... More

Just love it! You have to go. It's conveniently located in Old San Juan in front of the big Catedral and near the hotel El Convento. If you're in a cruise or just in the area, walk to the museum! It's a very nice and calid place to go with your family, three floors of exhibitions and each one have... More

Ok its a kind of fun for kids thing but go to the top floor and see amazing plants growing right there. Different types of your foods are growing at a faster pace. Spinach looks like a small succulent, just to name one. They are for sale too, check the rules for taking it home. Then come outside and find the... More

We stopped in to the museum for a couple of hours to appease our youngest (5 year old) who was a trooper all week doing all of our site seeing etc. We were pleasantly surprised at what a cute museum was right in the heart of Old San Juan on a beautiful street we walked a couple of times before.... We swung by this museum at the suggestion of our concierge and were glad that we did. Amusingly enough, adults cost less than the kids. They must have switched the prices since some of the other reviewers visited. There was a craft that was $1 extra. It was not a super large museum, but it had many areas and our... More

We went on a weekday to the Museo del Niño in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The entrance fees are: 10 for adults and 7 dollars for children. They have plenty of scientific stations for kids to explore. Some of the stations were too complicated for kids to understand. All of the stations had Spanish and English labels and were clearly identified.... More

We walked from the Cruise Ship Port to the Museo del Nino on a friend's recommendation. The prices were very fair ($7/adult and $5/child). We walked through the museum quickly, then went back to the exhibits that interested my 5-year-old daughter the most. She thoroughly enjoyed many of the exhibits and there was much to do for all ages. I... More

We've been to the children's museums in Atlanta, Tampa, New York and now San Juan. This was: -Physically second only to the new museum in Tampa, which is AMAZING physically (and costs 250% as much to get in) -Best service of any of them -Not terribly crowded -Great location -BILINGUAL STAFF (for those with monolingual children). All in all, I... More

The museum is small and cozy, but because of that does not offer lots of activities. If you have two kids in different age groups, as I do, it is going to be difficult as they do not allow your bigger kid in the same area even is there is no body else in the museum. They are not very... More

I visit this museum on may 4 2013 and the staff welcome us (my wife and my kids) with a lot of enthusiasm. My kids have 3 years and the other one have 1 year and I think that they only have one room for that age. They stay there for like an hour and they love it but I... More
